My Dream Trip to Las Vegas

My Dream Trip to Las Vegas It was summer 2009. My husband surprised me with tickets to Las Vegas, for our second anniversary. Our 4 days vacation package included air ticket, car and hotel. I was all excited, and packed all beautiful and colorful dresses appropriate for Las Vegas temperature. We were advised ahead by our friends to stay indoors during day time, as it is going to be too hot and humid in Las Vegas at this time of the year. On June 20th 2009 we flew from Virginia to Las Vegas in an American Airlines flight. By the time we reached there, it was 11pm in Las Vegas. Time in Las Vegas is 3 hours behind our Eastern Time. We picked our rented SUV at the airport, and went straight to our hotel Circus Circus, located at the crossroads of Tropicana Road and Las Vegas Strip. We booked this hotel for its indoor amusement park, and the free circus. We were put in one of the west tower rooms, which were located directly above the hotel lobby, with close proximity to shopping promenade and Adventure dome. We slept for couple of hours. We started our vacation first with the casino strip road. The place looked beautiful, lively, and fully packed with people, vehicles, and casinos on either side of the road. I felt myself in a dream land with all the lightning from the casinos, with the noise coming from vehicles, laughter, fun and music. I felt my two eyes are not sufficient to see the beauty of the sight.
Next day we started our day at 12am, with an Indian restaurant named Gandhi restaurant. We finished our lunch, and started off with the adventure rides at our hotel Circus Circus. Then we went to the free circus in the hotel. Once we finished with the amusements in our hotel, we planned to visit the most important casinos in Las Vegas. First one is the famous Bellagio. The best part of Bellagio is the musical water fountain show. I enjoyed the show and felt romantic, seeing the way water dances for the sweet

Between the years of 1600-1754, three distinct regions were formed in the new world. The three main English settlement areas were categorized into the New England, Middle, and Southern group of colonies and all had major differences and events that led to their own identity. Many people moved to these new colonies to start a new life, try to make a large profit, or even to escape religious restrictions. These three areas provided a new place for people or families to start over and control their own futures, and this played a major role in history.…

Las Vegas is exactly what I thought it would be in so many ways. I never thought a place could live so fully up to its famous and infamous reputation. From the slot machines to the nudity. Its almost like the entire place just never found its filter. "Southern Hospitality" was null and void and I'm guessing never even heard of let alone considered. Its just the complete rawness was something I'm not used to it at all. In the south everyone is so much more conservative and worried about what they look like in other people's eyes. It just seems like everyone there was so much more worried about themselves and their own lives they didn't have time to be worried with others. There was also this sense of togetherness and understanding. Not necessarily…

As we looked to find a hotel to live in we came across The Hampton’s Inn and that became the place where we lived. Once we were settled in, we went out for breakfast and we to the Gohaman Beach where we seen lots of unusual things. We made our own fun because the people that were there didn’t know us and were not friendly at all. Upon returning to the beach, we set up our net and got our ball ready to play volleyball which turned out to be great once other people started playing and showing us different stunts. We played for about two hours and returned to the room to shower and go out to shop. While heading to the mall, we came across a crowd of huge mountains that could be traveled on so we did just that. The clock above my head ticks slowly, the sound ever increasing as the minutes pass by; tick, tick, tick. I normally do not notice the time while I work, usually I am the energizer bunny of workers, in early, out late, always working or willing to, but that day was different; I had a date; a first date to be exact. Finally the time has come for me to go home; I step out into the warm Vegas air, I can smell the familiar scents of fall slowly encroaching on the city. September in Vegas is typically warm, with the average daily temperatures in the upper nineties. I lite a cigarette and walk through the parking garage to my car. My mind was racing; what will he be like, will he be funny, boring; I even allow my thoughts to drift to what he would look like naked.…

We arrived in Los Angeles, California. The hotel we stayed in was one of the best hotels I've ever been in. This hotel was so big and fancy, and the weight room that was there was bigger than the fitness center back home. This hotel also had two pools. The outdoor pool looked really beautiful, because it had a giant water fall leading into the pool, but it was closed down while we were was staying there, so I just used the normal everyday hotel pool, which was indoors. It was very incredible to see something like this on how beautiful a single hotel could be, and look.…
