The Conjurer Made off with the Dish
1. I think the old of narrator is about 7-10 years old. I estimate based upon from the acting and interesting of boy. He is still injudicious because he’s not sure what type of bean and oil which his mom wants. If he is older than then, he must know and remember things that his mom want. And he interest to see the conjurer that he like playfulness as other children.
2. My impression of the boy’s character in the beginning is hesitation in what type of bean and oil and angry and fear that the bean seller irritate him.
3. After I read in the middle of story, I change my estimation of his age that he should have 14-15 years old because the acting in love scene between the boy and the girl is suitable with teenage more than children.
4. She likes playfulness as the boy but she has responsibility that her mom is crying in pain at home and the boy also has responsibility to buy the bean and oil.
5. I see the changes in the boy’s characters from situation that I think the boy’s character grow up with situation in story.
6. While the boy is waiting the girl to return, he see the man and the woman was haggling that me he is curious, surprise, pleased and disquiet. And the world outside his house that be different from his previous is rioting in real life that it can’t surmise that what happen.
7. He fear in the situation the man is killing the woman he try to escapes from there but then he lost his way. Therefore there are many questions from him to ask himself.
