working on the trails and signs. On September 30th, a group of volunteers and I will restore the trails by moving dirt so that any ruts or eroded parts of the path are fixed and smooth for comfortable hikes. After we finish that, we will need to make sure the footpaths are easy to walk on by hiking them ourselves, and fixing up any parts that seem difficult to pass, September 30th. We will also make sure that the trails are clearly marked, either by fencing or by the plants that line the edge of the trail, September 30th. After that we will make sure the signs are clearly marked so that people know what trail they are on, September 30th. Then we will clean up any trash that is left behind in the park, September 30th. We will finish by concluding that we got the job done.
The trails play an important role in the environment so we must make sure they are usable and lined. By lining the trails people can’t cut through and unintentionally destroy the vegetation and habitat. If the people destroy the animal’s habitat, the animals and environment will suffer. The trails are also fixed so that you can have a pleasant hike without having to worry about falling or twisting your ankle. Then by fixing the signs it also helps people stay on track and not get lost. We will clean the park to ensure a clean and safe atmosphere.
Fixing up the national park will raise my awareness about the environment and scenery.
I will want to go hiking in the Morongo Preserve more frequently. Nature is a part of our DNA, so fixing the trails will make me want to enhance the beauty of nature. Learning more about the parks will encourage me to study the creatures in nature. I can also have a fun time going hiking with my family.
My health can improve a great deal by hiking. Our body’s muscles are designed for walking or hiking because it is a natural movement and mostly injury-free. Hiking is also an aerobic activity that increases your body’s demand for oxygen that trains your heart, lungs and muscles to work more efficiently. Since I would be able to hike more on the trails I will strengthen my core, glutes, and muscles in my legs. Hiking burns calories, and studies show that hiking can relieve stress and anxiety. Overall, if the trails are smooth and accessible I will go hiking and be healthier.
Repairing the trails may be a little challenging, so I will ask for assistance when I need help. I may not be able to smooth out the ground so I would have a staff member to assist me in moving the dirt. I may not meet the staff’s expectations so I will clarify what should be done. Another problem I may face is watching out for bugs or snakes. If I see something dangerous I will tell a staff member and do what they instruct. We also don’t want to trip and fall, so we will make sure we know where we are stepping and working.

There are safety issues when working out in the national park. A safety issue may be that it is hot and everyone has to drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration. Another issue is that we should be in pairs or groups so no one gets lost. Some equipment that we should have are: closed toe shoes, gloves, hats, sunscreen, and water. These are important so we don’t get hurt.
