In my school there’s a lot of peer pressure. Many of us can’t resist to what is said and we do what we observe. Majority of kids are not really inspired to be in a class, that can be one reason why they choose wise decisions. My role is to always convince them that education is very important, because education is very valuable. I know I have something that many people don’t have and I’m very grateful that I have this opportunity. I know for sure that variety of students think the same, but it’s challenging to show that you care when people around you don’t. History is filled with so many past memories and stories that haven’t been told. History has to be my favorite subject, it is very interesting and it is something that I like. History was not a subject I was very interested in but as the class continues it has become something that I’m very entertained with. When I was starting my Freshman year in High School I did not have a History class, and I didn’t think it was very important. Having more than one class of history is required to graduate so I knew I needed to take them. Now I would love to have honor and AP classes for my favorite academic subject. One of the main reasons why History is my favorite academic subject is because of my teachers. The way that they teach makes me feel very curious about the most tragic and wonderful times that happened in the past. My teachers have been in the same position that I was in the beginning of the year. History is something that we should all be happy to learn and we should value.
