Nowadays, school always manages to make me stressed out, because I care about my grades and doing well. I take a lot of pride in being a good student and want to be successful. At the end of the day, I often have to remind myself that grades are not the end-all be-all and that a “B” is not equivalent to failure. Whatever the age, too much pressure tends to make people overthink and over complicate things, when all we really need to do is take a step back and focus on the bigger…

Harmful ways of distracting is through watching television, or browsing social media. Another way to deal with stress is to reframe the way you think about a situation. Greenberg says that instead of thinking about the horrific outcome of not getting an A in a class, teens should take a step back and look at the whole picture. For example, if a teemn’s parents are very strict about grades, the teen will think that if they do not get a certain score in the marking period, their parents will be very upset. However, the teen should look to see is if their is anyway to improve on the grade like hire a tutor.…

The first of my stressors is school; school is a stressor because it is more demanding than it was in past years there it is now asking more from me along with all my other responsibilities. School takes up a lot of time during the day in classes and then even more time doing outside classwork. This takes away from my work schedule or my sleep schedule neither. School is the first thing on my mind in the morning and the last thing before I go to bed. School is also a financial bourdon between books, classes, and transportation. The last reason that school is a stressor is because I have put a lot of pressure on my self to succeed I have worked so hard to get where I am today and I have to continue to work hard and not let the little things overwhelm me about school.…
