My Favorite Place To Think

Sometimes I get bothered by a bunch of things like school, work or my family judging me for every little things. So, when I need to think a little or to get some quiet time for myself, I go for a walk on the beach because it’s the best place I would go to, to think and to clear my head. It’s the way the waves goes up and down and the fresh salty water gets on your feet like it’s giving me a massage. It’s also a great place to run from your problems. I like the beach when the light covers the water it makes it look so nice. It makes me forget about all my problems and all the nagging of work or school. When my mom is yelling at me for no reason, I just walk out the house and go for a walk by the beach, where the salty water goes on your feet on the sand. It helps me to calm down with the seagull chirping while the sun is going down. I sometimes think “ why can’t I just live by the beach”, then, I’d have peace and quiet, but I realized I would not be able to live near the beach because, in the summer time they might have a beach party and I wouldn’t hear myself think or have my peace and quiet. So I rather let this be my secret place to chill and relax my mind. I like it that way and I wouldn’t have it any other way. So in conclusion the beach is my favorite place to be. I don’t only find it my favorite place because of the smell or the waves floating on your feet, but because it is a great place for me to get some quiet time to think and to get away from my problems. I f I would recommend someone a great place to be, it would be the beach. It is the best place to be at all-time except when they having aa beach party or some sort.

Is there a place that you go to just to think or feel relaxed? Everyone has a place like that and the Delaware River is that place for me. When I first moved to Pennsylvania seven years ago, I loved that I was going to live near a river. I had never lived so close to any body of water before. After about one year of living in Easton, Pennsylvania, my mom and I had decided to have a picnic every year alongside the Delaware River. We would sit on the grass with the sun warming our faces and just watch the water in the river flow until it fell down the waterfall. The Delaware River provides a place for me to think and it’s also a great place to go if you want to relax.…

There’s no other place in the world where I feel the most at home than being at Long Beach Island. There you can smell the fresh, salty air of the ocean as the warm breeze brushes across your face. It is a place where the sand, sometimes chilled by the water or boiling hot up in the sand dunes, fiddles its way through your toes one by one sending chills down your spine with every step. Off in the distance you can hear the chiming of bells as the ice cream men call children of all ages to cool themselves off with a frozen treat. This is the place that all summer long, I am lucky to call home.…

The sounds of the ocean are very comforting; the rhythmic pounding of the waves represses all worries. Relaxtion is easy to achieve while hearing the waves crash along the shore. As if that isn't enough, wonderful music is always being played whether it's by the person down the beaches radio or a local band set up. Speckled birds fill the air squawking begging for the children to throw them another piece of bread. Wind gently whispering all day long. One Hour Alone

For our first assignment in class, we were asked to do a “One Hour Alone” where you sit somewhere quiet, by yourself and just observe your senses and feelings. My one hour alone was very interesting. I chose to sit in my car in front of my house for one hour. At first it was very boring but then I started to think about my life. It was raining outside and I felt so relaxed. All I heard were rain drops dropping on the windshield and I was watching them fall as I laid in my seat. All I could smell is the heat coming from the car and the cup of coffee I had to keep me awake. I started thinking about how much I miss my mom who had left a couple days ago to Jordan to see her sick brother you suffered a stroke and is currently in a coma. I thought about all the moments I had with my uncle and how much of a nice guy he is. My uncle suffering a stoke reminded me of my PED class and how important it is to stay healthy and fit, to prevent stuff like this at an early age. This one hour alone helped me relieve a little stress I had in my life. I thought everything through and little by little I saw myself feeling relieved. It was like a problem and resolution time. I thought about the problem, and I solved it in my head with a good resolution. It's good to be alone every once in a while to think about everything throughly. I felt like I was communicating with myself, and even understanding myself more. I will definitely do this more often with…

If I have had a bad day or issues are on my mind, the one place I go is the golf course alone. It was a scorching hot day and my mom dropped me off. I told her to come back in an hour and a half. I grabbed my golf bag and threw them on my back like a bag of bricks and begin to carry it over to the range. As I walked by the first tee box the workers were packing up for the day and heading home. I could hear lock on the door click and I knew I would be one of the few people out this late. In the sky the sun graced the horizons of the golf course and shined through the trees around me. Out on the course, there were a few scattered groups shooting around like ants on the horizon in their golf carts rushing to beat the darkness and get to the bar…

When I think of home it is the place where I first came to realize all of my thoughts worries, hopes, and dreams. It wasn’t the place where I had been raised, it was far from it. A beach. In my home town, about 10 miles away. Lincoln Township Beach was instantly where I felt a sense of relief. The waves monumental like a skyscraper. The trees gentle and peaceful. The wind that kissed your face with its cool breeze. Peacefulness. Your mind drifts into a sense of relief that not all things are difficult. The beach is a beautiful scene of peace and tranquility. Every moment is a different scene. As I sit in my chair I can see all the sights of summer; children building sand castles along the ocean's edge, to my right I observe an elderly couple enjoying a good book. The waves crash into one another, the breeze blowing from the tide, the smell of salty ocean, and the sticky air…

Relaxing is something very important to me, especially after a hard and busy day. I like to relax in a place where no one is looking at me or doing any noisy sound. For me going to the lake is one of my favorite places to go and relax. Fortunately, there is a lake near my house , so I can go there and relax. I go three day a week. I sit there looking at the moon and the stars. Sometimes I listen to an old Arabic music. I go to the lake because I feel free there without any stress. Moreover, taking a deep breath of a clean air and enjoying an hour of relaxing lets me forget everything bad I go through in my long day of studying or working.…
