My Favorite Restaurant

I always enjoyed eating out. Probably because it means I do not have to cook! My mother always told me that it’s healthier for the family to eat home cooked meals. I actually like cooking, but sometimes it can be a burden. When the wonderful time comes to go and eat out my number one favorite place to go is the Chipotle Mexican Grill Restaurant. It is the best restaurant ever, no questions asked. This restaurant just makes me happy to even talk about it. The first time I went in to go eat, I instantly felt the great welcome and smelled the delicious Mexican food. I began to love Mexican cuisine when my family and I went to go visit Cancun, Mexico. I had gained about 10 pounds in one week, with that said the food was magic to me. Chipotle Restaurant is a really special place, and the reasons why are endless. The chipotle catch phrase “I’m not addicted, I just eat em every day” is very true. Once you try one of their foods it is very addicting, it is that delicious. My best friend Elyse was the one who introduced me to this restaurant. She told me “I’m going to take you to my favorite restaurant you are going to love it”. Little did I know that her favorite restaurant was going to become my mine as well. My favorite food is the burrito bowl; Lord Jesus my mouth gets watery just thinking about it. Nothing Compares to how this burrito bowl taste; it includes chicken, rice, beans, tomatoes, and whatever else you want that is on the menu can be added to it.

Every time I go to this restaurant I always tend to take picture of the food that I’m eating. It’s silly, but I just love how the food looks. Since it’s a Mexican restaurant the foods seems so colorful and the spices actually stand out. When you enter Chipotle not only the staff is friendly, but also the customers. I know that you can’t have control on how the customer feels but it is

With their take on a “fast-casual” restaurant, co-owners Will Cumberland, Baird Cumberland and Stephen Chan have introduced a unique dining experience fit for its young and urban neighborhood: casual and quick in its service (a great choice for those in a tight lunch break) but at the same time chic and relaxed in its vibe where you can stay longer and have a few beers with friends. The ambiance created from its décor to its menu and the cool atmosphere provided by itskitchen and staff is very welcoming and resonates a holistic vision of Wilbur Mexicana. It is not just a place to get delicious and reasonably priced Mexican street-food but also a place to hangout and share memorable food…

When Steve Ells decided to create a restaurant concept that combined the quick-serve experience with exceptional quality food, he didn’t know it would be an instant hit (Thompson, Peteraf, Gamble, & Strickland III, 2015). He was looking for a way to use his culinary training and restaurant experience to elevate the fast-food concept. This transformed the way people thought about fast-food. His concept centered on a focused menu serving only high-quality, fresh ingredients using traditional cooking methods and made-to-order preparation in a restaurant interior that was aesthetically pleasing but still prepared in under 2-3 minutes. And Chipotle Mexican Grill was born! Within six years of being open, Chipotle Mexican Grill went public on the New York Stock Exchange, doubling its stock price the first day (Thompson et al., 2015). Year after year, Chipotle has been able to grow revenue from $3.2 billion to $4.1 billion ("CHIPOTLE MEXICAN GRILL INC (CMG:New York): Financial Statements - BusinessWeek," n.d.). When Chipotle opened its first store in 1993, the idea was simple: demonstrate that food served fast didn 't have to be a "fast-food" experience (Chipotle.com, 2010). Chipotle uses high-quality raw ingredients, classic cooking methods and a distinctive interior design. In the past year, Chipotle reached an important milestone of serving 100% naturally raised chicken in all of its U.S. restaurants while increasing the quantity of naturally raised beef to more than 60%. During 2008, Chipotle increased its revenue by 22.7%.…

In the 90's it was very hard to find a fast pace food environment that could actually serve quality food, that’s where Chipotle began to stand out. Bringing authentic and fresh Mexican ingredients is one of the many things that makes chipotle stand out to their competition. Chipotle meats are fresh, never frozen, left over night to marinate and grilled fresh every hour .They raise their cattle in humane conditions which help the quality of their meat, from my experience at dinging in this restaurant it always carries a peculiar taste as compared to other restaurants who have added hormones to enhance flavors. You can taste the unadulterated flavors in their vegetables, salsas, and guacamole versus the genetically modified condiments provided at other establishments. Chipotle is one of the few places that thrive on quality and quantity in a fast food environment yet still guarantying fresh flavorful organic ingredients. For those who are now a part of the health conscious wave this is without a doubt the best option for not only them but for…

Employees play an important role in Chipotle’s success. In the early days of the restaurant, Chipotle operated under a standard hierarchy. As Chipotle promoted managers to higher positions they realized that managers were responsible for creating the overall customer experience. They do everything from ensuring the best food to hiring the best employees. In 2006 Chipotle created the “Restaurateur Program” which gives managers incentives to make a career out of their position. The program gives managers an opportunity to earn as much or more than their supervisors by receiving large bonuses if their store does well. Chipotle empowers their employees by allowing them to be creative and act as a chef would in a restaurant. They also pay their hourly employees above minimum wage and give them access to…

Chipotle Mexican Grill, aims to do a few things but do them exceptionally well. When Chipotle (pronounced chi-POAT-lay) opened its first store in 1993, the idea was simple: demonstrate that food served fast didn't have to be a "fast-food" experience. We use high-quality raw ingredients, classic cooking methods and distinctive interior design--features that are more frequently found in the world of fine dining. When we opened, there wasn't an industry category to describe what we were doing. Some 16 years and more than 900 restaurants later, we compete in a category of dining now called "fast-casual," the fastest growing segment of the restaurant industry, where customers expect food quality that's more in line with full-service restaurants, coupled with the speed and convenience of fast food.…

For 1993, Chipotle has launched first and enjoyed rapid growth and increasing success. In 2011 alone, revenues reported are $2.3 billion. Chipotle has seen its revenues and net income increase in each of the past five years. It has expanded rapidly even through national economic hardships and uncertainty and has seen its profit margins grow healthily the past three years. Chipotle should continue its growth in the United States both increasing density in current locations as well as expanding into areas that, as of now, are untapped by Chipotle. Also, after achieving initial success in Chipotle should continue to test the next market by slowly entering other major cities but keep their focus on domestic expansion. With this stated expansion, Chipotle should continue and increase its use of the smaller, more efficient a Model style restaurant. Chipotle has recently hired workers in its restaurant and is the current target probes in multiple states. In addition, Chipotle tighten its hiring policies and possibly help them gain the right to live and work in a second home run. The last…

When one thinks of Mexican food one probably has cheese sauce and chips come to mind. Mexican food has become a huge part of American life, for example salsa outsells Ketchup in America. (Navarrette, 2011) Almost every town has a Mexican restaurant, and even my little town has a very popular Mexican restaurant. During this project I decided to take home a menu from El Mariachi’s, my local Mexican restaurant. Of course there was one main theme…taco or burrito shells. Almost every dish was served in a taco or a burrito shell or they were served on the side. (Lunch menu, 2010). The reason behind the popularity of taco and burrito shells is simple, corn. According to Peyton, corn has been one of the biggest crops grown in Mexico for four-thousand…

Throughout the decades of time, society has been continuously determining the perception of what it is to be "beautiful." The American standard of beauty is often reflected upon advertisements that convey an unrealistic expectation for most everyday women. Whereas, teenagers have grown to interpret advertisements as a model for how they should appear physically. Marilyn Monroe was perceived as the epitome of beauty in the 1950s. The well-known sex symbol was recognized because of her curvaceous build. But for instance, Twiggy, a popular model in the midst of the 1960s, later set a misconstrued standard to what was beautiful. With the rising of her stardom, the glamorization of being thin was beginning to take a turn on a more positive note. That is until the famous 90s heroin chic model, Kate Moss, hit the scene taking the modeling industry by storm in an unhealthy manner with her campaign "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels." As time continues to inevitably move forward in American culture, as will the image and conception of what beauty truly is in the eyes of our society.…
