Greetings!
We will be staging the Adlaw sa Suba 2012 on June 8, 2012 in line with Sagay City’s Charter Day celebration. Adlaw sa Suba is the day dedicated to preserving our precious Himoga-an River. Our activities are all geared towards raising the awareness on the preservation of our river and its ecosystem. Last year, we were awarded by the Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines as First Place to their Best Tourism Practices Award, Sports Event – City Category because of our partnership, wide community participation and our heart for the environment .
This year, we plan to continue cleaning up the river, its surroundings and plant thousands of tree seedlings in partnership with many stakeholders such as the Sagay Marine Reserve and CENRO, Solid Waste Management Council, Department of Education Division of Sagay, OISCA-Sagay, Association of Barangay Captains, DILG-Sagay, and YOU will also be our partner in this undertaking.
Should you find it in your heart to join us and volunteer, please prepare as many tree seedlings as possible and be part of the many Sagaynons who will be in this historic undertaking. As volunteer, we earnestly request that you prepare everything you need. The following are the checklist :

We will be staging the Adlaw sa Suba 2012 on June 8, 2012 in line with Sagay City’s Charter Day celebration. Adlaw sa Suba is the day dedicated to preserving our precious Himoga-an River. Our activities are all geared towards raising the awareness on the preservation of our river and its ecosystem. Last year, we were awarded by the Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines as First Place to their Best Tourism Practices Award, Sports Event – City Category because of our partnership, wide community participation and our heart for the environment .
This year, we plan to continue cleaning up the river, its surroundings and plant thousands of tree seedlings in partnership with many stakeholders such as the Sagay Marine Reserve and CENRO, Solid Waste Management Council, Department of Education Division of Sagay, OISCA-Sagay, Association of Barangay Captains, DILG-Sagay, and you and Barangay Bato will also be our partner in this undertaking.
