The first and most important for being a parent is to love their children. Without love children would feel deprived and wonder why they weren't good enough. Love is also needed to help their child thrive and grow. Love brings the parent-child relationship closer, letting the child open up to their parents when there is a problem. Love is an all-around goodness to have. The second is patience, a virtue that is hard to practice by many, with kids it can be difficult at times. They are unpredictable. They can be really good and behave themselves, while other times getting into everything, making a mess, stringing toys around the house, running like a wild Indian, ad nagging every other minute that they need this or that. Patience is definitely a virtue of importance that doesn't come easy. Next is quality time spent bonding with children. There is never too much time to have with children. The time spent is precious and never should be wasted. This time helps the parents to understand the child so they can grow closer and have a better relationship. Plying games, talking, or taking a walk is part of quality time. Giving this time shows to them that parents care.

Practitioners should effectively plan activities to give children the opportunity to explore, discover and investigate an activity example could be taken place outside as there is many types of nature that children will find fascinating, from activities such as this the child will gain their personal ‘understanding of the world’. My philosophy of guiding children’s positive behaviors is through praising children when they have done a good job at something. For example, if it is time to clean up and I see a child putting away toys nicely I will say “I like how you put away the toys Razi, good job”. Also a soft pat on the back when a child has accomplished a new task such as putting on their own shoes, n shows affection and pride. . In addition, when a child shares I show am glad they are doing such a great job. It is important to acknowledge their positive behaviors in order to encourage the children to keep it up. This approach is very different from the way I was guided as a child because when I was in school, the teachers would not say much whenever I had done something good, which made me feel like perhaps my positive behaviors and actions had been overlooked or did not matter much to my teachers.…
