My passion has led me to this moment in time to be the person I am in the place that I am meant to be in. I am passionate about improving the lives of others. I believe that studying biology is a good way to do this through my own talents. I've seen several close family members die from incurable disease. My ultimate career goal is to become a radiologist. One could almost say I literally fell into wanting this career. In eighth grade, I fell down the stairs at school, hurt my ankle very badly and had to go get it checked out. After seeing an x-ray of my injured ankle, I thought it was the coolest thing I had ever seen and knew I had to learn more about just what went into getting images like that. After research on the career and talking to a few radiologists about their jobs, it sounded like everything I would love. I've had a fierce interest in radiology ever since. I was very lucky to find an interest in radiology especially as I discovered it could go along with my interest in helping people. In this field, I hope to begin research and development of new techniques that could help find and diagnose disease and injury more
