First off, I would like to say a very special thank you to all my teachers who encouraged me. A special thanks to my family. My mom, dad and brother have helped me tremendously over the years. They were always there for me and always will be there for me. I couldn't have done anything without the help of the God.
I came to Academy in the middle of 4th grade and WOW! My time here has gone by very fast. There are many memories that will be with me for a long time: the 8th grade class trip to Dallas, the leadership retreat to T-Bar M, and who can forget the teachers: Mr. Hansen, Mrs. Bolen, Mr. Pellman, Mr. Moore and Mr. Bradley. Mr. Hansen has drilled into us the maxims, Mrs. Bolen has taught us many life lessons, Mr. Pellman taught us how to enjoy life with his funny stories, Mr. Moore taught us how to write and deliver speeches by giving many (to say the least) essays and Mr. Bradley made us laugh every time in class because of his unique mix of sarcasm and fun. I will always remember these teachers. From the speeches of Mr. Webster in morning chapel to playing basketball with friends while waiting to be picked up after school have been truly enjoyable. I will greatly miss this close knit family.
