My Ideal Husband
Title : The Ideal Husband
Thesis statement : There are few characteristics of an ideal husband of mine such as loving, great personality, good looking and career man.

A man who is a woman married to is called as husband. I believed that majority of women in this world wishing for an ideal husband to be their life partner, so do I. Unfortunately, finding those ‘quality man’ these days is not as easy as ABC. Why do I wish for an ideal husband? It is because good qualities in a husband can affect the entire dynamic of the marriage and help to ensure that my marriage will be longer lasting and happier. There are few characteristics of an ideal husband of mine such as loving, great personality, good looking and career man. I believe that these characteristics will help me to build a happy family one day. First and foremost, an ideal husband of mine should be a loving man. He should loves me as much as I love him. Everyone needs love in their life and it brings a lot of meaning to us. There is a saying that “love is care”, meaning that if your partner loves you; he or she must be care about you. If they care, they will never let us down and hurt our feelings. When we have love in our relationship, it will lead to an everlasting marriage. Everyone wants a marriage that is once in a lifetime. That is the reason why I want a man that really loves me to be my husband. Next, my ideal husband should have a great personality such as responsible, honest, respect and loyal. He must be a responsible man who is responsible to himself and others too. Responsibility is very important as my mother always remind me that once I am married, he is the one who should be responsible to me. My ideal husband must be an honest man. He must not lie, cheat or deceive. A part from that, he must be a respectful man whom shows respect to my family and relative including me as his wife. He has a section named “Internalizing the Values needed to build & maintain a strong relationship” (McGraw, 2000). In class we discussed some of these very characteristics. Values and qualities such as the 10 Heart Qualities and the 10 Character Qualities.
