My Idol
My idol is probably not even aware of the things he has taught me or of how much he has affected my existence. This person has been in my life since the day I first opened my eyes to the present moment. This person is a teacher, a guide and a source of strength and support. He is whom I look up to with loving trust and pride. He showed me the star and taught me how to reach them. This person meant the world to me, so who is this influential person in my life? He is my one and only father. My father teaches me everything I do not know. When I was young, my father takes care of me as well as my mother. When I have problem about knowledge in school such as Science and Mathematics, I can ask him about it. He will teach me with persistence and gives me many examples to explain to me and makes me understand. Besides that, the instruction of my father also makes me know many things in this world for example how to live and adjust in every surround. For instance, he tells me that “the road leading up to success can be bitter, but its result is sweet.” He always asks me to try my best in every activity I participate and his teaching have made who am I today. My father is very responsible and he had protected me from danger. For the past, when I was only eight years old, I fell into the swimming pool in the hotel. That time I could not swim. As I thought that I could not survive, my father jumped into the swimming pool and saved me. This incident makes me know that hero really have in the world. The person who always takes care of me, teaches me a lot of knowledge in life and has saved me from danger is the person who influences me the most, my father. He may not be a firefighter, an astronaut or a brain surgeon, he is only a simple man, yet he leaves the greatest impact on me. My father is the individual who impact me the most and is the greatest gift I have ever received.
