The most influential person in my life would have to be my sister. We have watched each other struggle and we have watched each other triumph. Growing up, the odds were always against us. My sister has always reminded me that no matter how difficult the world is we will make it. She has never allowed me to give up, and has always been that motivational voice in my head that tells me to push forward. Last year, my sister achieved her goal of going to college. She turned to me, and said that I am next, words that are forever in my mind.…
To be inspiring means that you inspire others to either be as good as you or to do better because of you.”…
My grandmother, Elaine Parker, inspires me in a way that few others can. She is inspiring to me is when speaks about dance, I myself am a dancer going on 11 years and she has studied everything from ballet to jazz to tap dance within a span of 20 years. Having someone in your family to push you and move you forward is one thing, but when they have experienced the same things as you…
1.) First and foremost I admire my older sister Audrey Cotton, who is a perfect role model for me I would say. She’s about to graduate from nursing school to become a registered nurse with a bachelor’s degree. I’ve watched her struggle, and she’s come a long way. This is who I admire the most out of anybody she is showing me the best route go and that’s what I appreciate and admire about my older sister.…
Inspiration is a complicated and complex emotions to break down for analysis. Inspiration makes you go beyond the definition of the words. It goes deeper than the eloquent tying of sentences, and the bad attempt at humor. Inspiration is a transcendent adventure which logically shouldn’t happen. I start off listening to a story and word by word it is less about the story but more about the relationship between my life and the speaker’s story. You start asking yourself; can I do it? What if that was me? What if I changed? And then you have this uplifting and urgent urge to work harder, be nicer, be better. The most inspiring stories and speakers are the ones that talk about failure. Growing up we learn that to make it in life you need to be nothing but successful.…
Everyone has someone in their life who inspires them in some way. For me, it’s my uncle Nick. Kind, loving, and fun, he is the reason I aspire to live the best life I can live. He made me realize how important family was, and how to have a positive impact on the people around you. Everywhere he went he became best friends with everyone. He could walk into a party and not know a single person, and leave being the most known person there. Some people just have that way about them, and Nick was one of them. Unlike Nick, I don’t share his endless abundance of confidence and crecedence that strangers will accept me, but I do share his love of life. Whether it was talking about the Brewers, or hunting, or riding his Harley, he did it with passion.…
My hero is Rajon Rondo. He is a basketball player for the Boston Celtics and he plays starting Point Guard. He was born on February 22 1986 (age 24), in Louisville, Kentucky. He is 6 ft 1 inches and has been playing in the NBA since 2006. The Phoenix Suns drafted him and has since been traded to Boston where he won his first title in 2008. He went to Kentucky for university and then went straight to the NBA as the 26th pick in the first draft.…
Some of them were family members, who managed to be positive in the face of adversities, such as health problems, bereavement and life's disappointments. Others were teachers, always an important source of inspiration. My teachers managed to inspire me to believe in myself and that I could achieve as long as I worked hard to maximise my God-given abilities and life's opportunities.…
“To succeed you need to find something to hold on to, something to motivate you, something to inspire you.” – Tony Dorsett…
I feel that the world inspires me because anything negative encourages me to be positive. When I see people doing good as young adults it motivates me to be better and to focus on what’s important my life. I have family members like my mother, father etc that inspires me because everyone feel as if I’m not capable to do anything with my life or myself. After being around that negative energy it makes me feel as if they are telling the truth. I want to prove myself wrong and not believe in what they’re saying because it’s always thrown at me when I’m round them. For my parents, I want them to be proud of me for becoming my dream. I want to show them that raising me wasn’t a waste of time or energy. I admire people who are in college because I as a little girl I wanted to experience the life style being in college. My life has came to the point where I’m ready to make and show changes to myself. I have goals that I go by on a daily and monthly routine. When I’m really commited to my goals, I achieve them. Now that I’m graduating from Garrison Global academy, I feel like everything is in the right track. I will come across some challenges, but as long as I have faith in God he will provide, and keep me strong so I can stay focus. I will…
Another reason my older sister is my favorite sister is that she is compassionate. She has great sympathy for other people’s suffering. For instance, she often tries to help poor and homeless people by donating food, clothes, money, etc. She used to work as a volunteer for in a school for the blind children in Vietnam. I still remember when I saw her taught those children to read by touching the special characters. She patiently held her students’ hand and instructed them. Although it was not an easy job, her face was always radiant with smiles. She often told me to give what I got, and to feel happy helping others. My sister cares deeply about other people more than herself.…
Have you ever had a family member or maybe friends who you know that inspired you the most? Of all the family members and friends I knew the person I admire the most is my loving grandma, my mother's mom. Her name is Vy Nguyen; she was born and raised in a poor family in Thanh Hoa, Vietnam. My grandma is truly an important role of my family. I've heard many stories told by my mom about the struggles and challenges my grandma went through when she and grandpa tried to escape the communists and when they first came to the United States. I've always admired her because of her strength, patience, bravery, but most of all, her hard work.…
Is there ever been person in my life that has inspired me to do something or just astonishes you with their achievements? For me there is my teacher ex Mr. Scott is the most self motivated person I know. No matter what comes in his way, he conquers it, then moves on to the next challenge. Throughout the year Mr. Scott talked about his life, about how he once worked on the family farm for less than minimum wage, to how he had side programming jobs paying him more than one-hundred dollars an hour. He always preached if you work hard, no matter what you do, you will succeed on doing it. Now Mr. Scott is not any normal man by far, he is a machine, he never stops. Since the beginning, he worked hard, starting off he work on his family farm 7 days a week more than 12 hours a day, most people now days don’t even know what is hard work is, but Mr. Scott lived though it. After that he went to college and got degree in accounting and computer programming, there are others but he didn’t tell us. After college he got an teaching job, well I shouldn’t say a teaching job, he got three teaching jobs, one as a math teach at sterling, then a programming teacher at Macomb community college, then after all of the he was a driver’s ed teacher. He is well over 50 now and is still going strong, he still has his teaching jobs, and he also still doing his side job programming, the one that is paying his over $100 an hour. What’s here is a motivated man, people at his age are planning to retire, he is planning for new jobs. As you had read my teacher Mr. Scott had accomplish many obstacles in his life and hasn’t thought about quitting yet. That’s way my ex teacher Mr. Scott’s influence’s me to do well like him and have people look up to him.…
When I have my bad days, all I have to think about is the person that inspires me. To me, inspiration is the process of instilling faith in someone to motivate him or her to do something. Many people do things simply out of the kindness in their heart, and do not realize they are inspiring others around them. Bethany Mota is the person who inspires me the most.…
Throughout my life there are a few exceptional figures who have served as a role model for me offering guidance and direction through their words of wisdom. However none has such inspiration as Mother Teresa who has formed the very core and fundamental attributes which makes me a person that I am today. I believe in a life of giving and not taking through the teachings of Mother Theresa.…
