My Leadership Philosophy
Only a handful of people can fully fulfill this belief that I believe in. I am 16. My mom always tells me since I was little I was a leader. I always did things my own way and everyone would want to follow the way I was doing something. I believe in being a leader and to not be a follower. As I grew up I realized that everybody that I was around would start acting the way I was. I used to get offended by that when I was younger, not knowing why they would do that. Now that I am 16 I like that people follow in my footsteps. Being a leader means talking less, I like to hang on every word when someone is speaking to me. I like to be a leader because I like being an example to not just kids but to everyone. I am not influenced by the people around me. …show more content…
I can say I am not a fan of change but I do not hate it. Change can often be for the better. In the case of being a leader, changing is usually always a good thing. Courage is needed for being a leader. Courage is about being stronger and braver about something that other people are not. Being a leader takes strength as well. I have the courage and strength to stand up for what I believe in and I am not afraid to voice my opinion. My mom sometimes tells me I have no filter when it comes to having an opinion about somethings, but I do not see any problems. Leaders have to be able to think out of the box. When it comes to making good decisions I am one to know how to do that. When I was 13 I made the decision to not get in my friends sisters car that just got her license. Once I got home my mom told me that they got in a car accident. Everyone was fine, but if I did not make that and I got in the car I would have got into that car accident as well. Leaders always watch their surroundings. Whenever I am out someplace I always make sure I know what is going on around me at all times.
