After I have completed secondary school, I spend most of my teenage years working. I have tried a lot of work there is for a secondary school leaver like me. My first job is in the food & beverages industry where I worked as a waiter for a pool side café inside the Mandarin Oriental Hotel beside Kuala Lumpur City Centre located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. I have also tried doing a lot of sales oriented job such as telemarketing executives & working as a sales promoter. That is where I developed a very profound love for sales & marketing and I was hoping I could be a very successful businessman in the future. But with my Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia qualification, it won’t take me to the level that I wanted to be. So, in order to achieve what I have been planning for my future, I choose to further my study so I enrol for a Foundation in Business at Kolej Teknologi YPC i-TWEB.
Kolej Teknologi YPC i-TWEB provided me with all the necessary things that are vital for me to succeed in reaching my goal. There are a lot of facilities provided for the student so the learning process is quite an ease. For example, college provide the student with a discussion room so that student like me can do group assignment there and doesn’t have to travel to the nearest fast food outlet like other college students do. In my experience, other college student had to fork out their own money to get a wireless broadband in order for them to search for information on the internet to complete their assignment task. But here in YPC College, wireless internet connection or Wi-Fi are given for free for the student to fully utilise the benefits. The classroom is also air-conditioned to prevent uneasiness during lecture as we are living in a tropical weather and spend most of our time under the sun heat. Besides that, to get to the college is not a problem as there is a lot of public transportation around the area. There are two train station near the college that is Pandan Indah station and
