my life
A wise man once said: “ The greatest journeys in life begin with the smallest steps.” My journey began with a small step through the gates of The Vikasa School and today it is that very step which proved to be my greatest, wisest and the most cherished one, as it has opened the doors of opportunity for me by which I am able to self-discover, self-develop and retrospect myself in the right path. Greetings to everyone.

I wish to express, what to me, is inexpressible – the love, the pride, the gratitude and appreciation that I feel towards my school and the hands which moulded me into what I am today. Thirteen years of education has passed and it's time for the class of 2011 to accept the change and say farewell to those who had impact on our lives. Through out my FOUR years here, I have met many people who have left their impression in my life. Their kind words, encouraging pat on the back and friendship are forever imprinted. Thank you for giving me the confidence to move on. We meet innumerable people in our journey but there are a few who leave their imprints forever.... First & the foremost, the three most important people in my life, my mom, my dad and my brother. you were the ones who had belief in me when other started to doubt. Your presence is a blessing for which I will always be grateful. You may be only three persons, but to me you are my world. I love you more than my limited vocabulary can tell.

Geography impacts the development of civilizations in several important ways. A group of peoples that find themselves in a land locked situation will not be able to take advantage of waterways, river and seas. With no ports, their ability to fish and use commerce by sea impacts their ability to interact with nations that have water as an asset. Nations that find themselves in rugged and mountainous regions will not be able to farm effectively. Deserts and frigid areas may cause people to migrate to more hospitable locations. Unfavorable geography will stifle those peoples that chose to remain in their circumstances Geographic conditions helped influenced the development of civilizations by allowing permanent settlements, irrigation for crops, and a constant water supply. This led to the increase in human population, which led to cities which resulted in civilizations. Some early river valley civilizations consist of: Mesopotamia, Egypt, India, and China.…
