My Life Goals

My three life goals are getting a good education, getting a good job and having an enjoyable life. I chose these goals because I think they are three essential things in life. I feel like they should be what every person should strive for in life.
Getting a good education is essential to getting a good job, and that is essential to having an enjoyable life. After getting out of high school you can choose to go to college or to try and get a job right away. I intend on going to college and then trying to pursue a career in whatever I major in. Right now I am taking the first step to a good education in going to high school. It is easier to go from high school to college than to quit school and get your GED.
My next goal for my life is to get a good job. You should try and look for a job when you get out of college. Do something that you enjoy or you may dread going to work every day. You could also get a job before you are even out of high school. I will probably wait until I am in college to get a job. A good job gets you started on the path to your future endeavors. Right now school is my only job. It acts like a job because you are responsible for doing your homework and turning it in on time. If you are not responsible while you are in school you will most likely not be responsible when given something bigger at a real job.
My last life goal is to have an enjoyable life. You should not go around being sad all the time. You are more apt to fail at your job or education if you cannot laugh at yourself and be upbeat. Being positive even when the circumstances are difficult can be a big help as well. It has been proven that if you have a more positive outlook on life you will live longer than if you are more negative than positive. Life is short, so don’t spend time worrying about the things you can’t control or are out of reach. You should enjoy high school now because it will only get harder after this step in life. I you can’t enjoy yourself now, you will probably not be able to enjoy yourself later in life.
All three of the things are key in your life. A good education is harder to get than it used to be. It has recently become more expensive. That is why doing good in high school to get your GPA up is so important. That also will lead to getting a good job. Don’t be in a job just for the money. If you are not happy then don’t work there. Both of those two goals lead to my last goal in life of having an enjoyable life. All three are very essential.
