My Life Soundtrack Analysis
My album is called my life soundtrack. I named it this because the events that I picked we’re important in my life and they all happened over the course of my life. I designed my album this way because the things that happened helped me grow older and act my age so the cover shows how the events that happened to me made me grow older.I learned that I can change from previous experiences and make sure that the same things won’t repeat. I picked songs that describe the events I picked. I learned that there were a lot of songs that described a lot of event in my life.

The first song that I picked was Unsteady by X Ambassadors. This song represents my family and I moving to New Jersey. I felt like I wasn’t ready to move because I had so many

This song goes with the time I won the DAR writing contest and beat everyone it the state of New Jersey. I felt so happy and this song was a song I listened to when I heard the news. The song says “One step away from greatness, success is what you're making.” and I think that these lyrics explain this event very well. When I was very close to finishing the essay for the contest I started to get second thoughts and didn’t know if I still wanted to enter, but then I pushed myself to continue and I think that the words “One step away from greatness, success is what you’re making”This song is very important to me because it reminds me of this time and it makes me feel happy when i hear …show more content…
This goes with the time I went to visit my family in Panama.I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to my family and new friends. This song is important to me because it reminds me of my family. I didn’t want to go back home. This song is important to me because it reminds me of the love and bond that I have with my family.Even though I did have to say goodbye this song makes me think about how I will see them again.

The fourth song I picked was Lions and Tigers By: Sleater Kinney. This song is when my baby cousin was born. I picked this song because the song says “When it pours, it really rains, so Put on your boots, and let's play” and I feel like that explains how I wanted to be really close with my cousin and wanted to always spend time with her. This says how sometimes I can get attached to people very easily.I really wanted to be a person that she could look up to and I thought that this song represented it very well.

The fifth song I picked was I’m not scared By: Eighth Wonder. This song was for when I was going to the middle school. Everyone I knew was really scared that middle school would be hard, but I wasn’t worried at all. This song is important to me because it shows a sign of how you don’t have to be scared of anything that seems to worry you. The song shows how if you feel scared to do something then realize that there’s another way to think about it and how you don’t have to be

The tune sounds triumph, bringing this piece to life. Listening to this piece reminds me of my high school graduation and also, when I graduauted for Surgical Technology school at a two- year college; lots of memories. I played the flute in band from the time I was in the 4th grade until entering high school and I finally decided to leave the band. We played this song for important special occasions. The tune had an underlying quality of nostalgia, making it perfectly suited to a commencement that marks the beginning of one stage of life, but to the end of another. When you are getting ready to walk across the stage to receive you diploma or degree, this music piece alone brings tears to your eyes of achievement; you have made it to the finish line.…

. Most of the songs remained the same in the Broadway and film production of the sound of music, although there was some alterations in the placement of songs. The placement of the songs in musicals are of vital importance, as they are needed in emotional high points when diolage is not enough. There are four songs where the placement is criual if it is going to affective. The opening song sets the tone for the rest of the production, this is what the audience will be expecting, the main “ I want song” which will reveal the main sesires of one more main characters, which blah suggest should be placed early on in the first act, the “ 11’oclock number” should be placed midway through act two, this song could beanyting from a ballad to a charm song, depending on kind of musical, but it must be energetic enough to captivate and carry the audience…

My most listened to song is Alex Days and Carrie Hope Fletcher’s rendition of Faith Hill’s “This Kiss”. It tells of a story about two people who fall in love. Before they found each other, they were hurt by previous relationships but when they meet, they spark an indescribable romance. Throughout the song, they symbolize their love by their kiss. This song does support my values of commitment, happiness, and love.…

After listening to Rogers and Hammerstein’s list of musical hits there was one song which in my opinion stood out from the rest. This song is titled You’ll Never Walk Alone from Carousel. Initially, what made this song so appealing was Rogers and Hammerstein’s ability to capture human emotion and the importance of perseverance. Additionally, I enjoyed how this song elaborates on the importance of optimism even in the darkest of times. Also, on a more personal note, this song spoke of my past from an outside perspective.…

I had major writer’s block some days and would have to figure out how to get around it. Performing it live for the class also helps me in the future because the more I am able to perform in front of people, the more confident and comfortable I get do so. I have a very deep understanding of this song because “I hope you dance” has helped me through some extremely difficult times. I was homeless at the age of sixteen and ready to give up on the world when I first heard this song playing over the radio. With the help of Sillers words I was able to find the inspiration inside myself and keep going to school even if it meant sacrificing a day of pay from missing work. I knew that although things would be extremely difficult to attempt to be able to work enough hours to get my own place and attend high school on a regular basis, but with the help of her words I found the motivation within myself to give it my all. After three months I had saved enough money for the deposit and first month’s rent and my grades we’re decent enough for me to graduate on time with the rest of my peer’s. Now that I am more stable things have become less difficult, but whenever I am having a hard…

If my life were a soundtrack, then on December 5, 2001, at 4:38 am, the first song would have started being recorded. I believe that my soundtrack shows a pretty wide variety of music because my life is made up of a bunch of crazy little elements. There are a few musical theater songs in my soundtrack because I believe that the songs from these productions have the best themes of all. The theme for my life soundtrack is to be yourself and it’s based on my second favorite quote by Dr. Seuss, “Why fit in when you were born to stand out!” So, let me entertain you with my life, because if it’s not interesting, it’s at least a little bit funny.…

When thinking about the soundtrack for my life, the songs and lyrics that would best suit my life story, unfold before my eyes. Starting with a song by the Judds, titled Grandpa; reminding me of my early childhood, in which my grandfather was the biggest influence on my life. The lyrics of this song reflects what he had endeavored to teach me. He taught me right from wrong and about keeping promises. There were many occasions he would tell stories of his experiences to impress upon me valuable life lessons. Most important of all he taught me to love myself and others; that love was an important part of life and not something you throw away. He raised me until the age of eight years old; as my parents were wrapped up in the lifestyle not suitable…

I moved from another state my senior year and I was the new girl all over again. I faced lots of obstacles where I felt like I was the only one going through. There were 3 songs that helped me get through this year, my first song is by Tamela Mann called “In Your Corner”. This song brought me through tough times. There were times that I thought that I wasn’t going to make it this far and that no one really cared. This song basically is saying that Jesus is in my corner to see me through it all, and that he hears me every time I call and that he’ll be there to catch me when I fall. In addition to that song there was another song by Kirk Franklin called “I Smile”. This song gave me that courage to smile even through my ups and downs. The song simply says “I smile even though it hurts, see I smile”. Another song that got me through this year would be by Kelly Clarkson called “Make You Stronger” This song really helped me realize that whatever I was going through that I could use it to be my stepping stool and that I didn’t have to let it keep me…
