My Man Franklin Wants To Be Free Essay
My man Franklin wants you to be free because money in the modern world is the single most important necessity to have.

Money = Freedom.

It is such a simple concept that few understand it. When one does not have money he is a slave to anyone that has it.

Money is oxygen. Without oxygen, you will do anything possible to get it. Hence, people are the slaves to the money masters because it is oxygen. Why would you ever want to live like that?

Why is Money Freedom?

Money has always equaled freedom throughout time. Look at the past ruling classes, they have the money and they have the power. So money=power=control=freedom. Simple arithmetic.

Personally, a homeless person on the street is not free nor powerful, but a business man in a suit with stacks of 100 dollar bills is pretty damn free and powerful.

Then they are left to going back to work to make more money to catch up. However, this process keeps repeating until they die.

Unfortunately, this cycle leaves an abnormal amount of people broke and inducted into self-induced slavery.

The only exception is the people who can see past this "matrix" and excessive materialism.

These people see that you can use the same process but with assets to get one self free.

The freedom cycle- work at a job - take the money and save it - buy an asset with a yearly cash flow- and repeat. So

    Americans revolve around money. They cannot live without it. In order to survive and/or live a good life one needs money. In the United States wealth classifies people. If one is rich, one is high class, if one has nothing, one is considered lower class. Why does money define the people? I agree with Lewis Lapham's view of " the American faith in money" because everything he states is factual, and I myself have experienced it.…
