One of our strengths was our ability to communicate with one another. There were many instances where we all did not agree, but we listened to understand and talk everything out. Overall, I enjoyed my time I spent with my group. We learned from each other and have a support system throughout the papers.

Seeing in on a greater scale with numbers involved allowed me to better understand the uneven distribution of wealth in the United States. Writing Paper #2 was also very challenging. I feel that there always can be dug deeper into one’s consciousness of self. I feel that it was very hard to go into the very last bit of detail about every factor in my organizer’s consciousness of self. But, learning about consciousness of self, allowed me to understand organizers and understand how they became the leader that they are. To make change in society, personally you must discover what your passion is. After figuring out your passion and to then have that fuel change in society. Also, you must allow struggles in your life to be your empowerment to make a change, not to define you as a person. This class taught me how to take the first steps in activism, as well as way to motivate others to want to
