My Pursuit Of Gymnastics

Growing up I have always been involved in some extracurricular activity from gymnastics to soccer to t-ball to softball, I tried it all. In kindergarten, I started gymnastics while I still played recreational soccer. I worked really hard each practice and leveled up each year. I competed in meets and would always enjoy standing on the podium to receive my medal or trophy. One day at practice I had thought of a cool dismount on the balance beam and had practiced it a couple times. When my mom came to pick me up I was excited to show her my new dismount. The dismount entailed doing a handstand sideways on the beam and flipping towards the back to land on my feet facing away from the beam. Little did I know I had too much momentum, I continued
I decided to take a break from gymnastics and try out for soccer. I made the team and was thrilled to go to soccer practices instead of gymnastics training for a change. I am so glad I decided to play soccer because I have worked really hard and am trying to fulfill my goal of playing in college. That being my dream goal and starting my junior in high school I started talking to coaches of schools I was interested in. I was a starter on the junior varsity team for Lord Botetourt my freshman year. After that, I have been on varsity where my team has been undefeated each year. Soccer is a wonderful stress reliever for my vigorous work load. I love soccer and hope to be signing for a college in the spring this
The English portion of seminar did not scare me as much as the government part. History is not my strong suit, and because it is a college class this year, I was really nervous. I heard the tests are almost impossible and I always get upset when I cannot pass a test. I will always put forth a lot of effort in everything I do. I want to present all my work the best I possibly can. I enjoy writing research papers about an interesting topic. I do not enjoy having to cite all the sources though. I have always loved vocabulary and writing but disliked reading and comprehension. I struggled at reading comprehension in middle school. If I am reading a good book or story and can answer questions about the reading I usually do better. I think I do not like reading because I am so active and I can never settle down enough to get into the
