I didn’t really have time for reading. And that was sad because reading was a big part in my life. So I was glad when my teachers gave me a book report to write about assigned books because that gave me a chance to reconnect with a big part of my life. My feelings for reading never changed; I still love books but I never made time for it as a teenager like I did.
Now when I have a time, I read books based on the movies. I read the book first then watch the movie and compare the two. I don’t know why I do that, but I was always interested in the book, then the movie. When I read The Notebook it was nothing like the movie. I was disappointed at the movie. So I stick with reading the books before I watch the movie. During school we have to read out loud, I hate it. I like to read on my own so I can fully understand what I’m reading. When people start reading they don’t show stoical when they read. I like to picture what I’m reading and when people read out loud I can’t do that when they read out. Books was a big part in my life and still is a big parts thing change in my life but read will always stay the same no matter what. My favorite saying is “A room with out books is like a body without a soul”, wrote Marcus Tullius
