My Role Model: Dad
MY ROLE MODEL MY role model is my dad Robert, he is an amazing guy. He was a little wild as a teenager but over came that after a couple years. He met my mother back in 1982. They both started dating; she jokes and says he wanted me for my chicken, because she was working at church’s chicken. I found that really funny growing up. When I came along they were stationed in Germany where I was born in September 1983. I don’t really remember to much about Germany other than my dad had his own race car and would race on the weekends. My dad and mom did so much with me as a child; at a young age he would have me help him. I was always side by side with him. In April of 1986 came my sister. Through the years my dad has always taught us if u starts something you must finish it. My dad always told me to be truthful because at the end of the day the only person you’re lying to is yourself. Be proud of you and all your choices and you shouldn’t ever have to say what if. My dad is my role model because he has served 32 years in the army and 4 deployments, he has always supported his family and never let us down. I’m so proud to call him my father and my role model. He was a little wild as child but grew up to be a man that everyone respects and acklowdges.

My Mom is my role model. I guess this is due to the fact that I used to scarcely see my Dad because he comes home really late; he still does, though not as late, while my Mother took care of me ever since she quit the job as the General Manager when I was in 2nd grade. She is the one who is there for me whenever I have a problem, like a robot on standby, but she is also a harsh whip with her discipline though she never hit me. My most notable memory of my Mom is when I sucked at math in 3rd grade. I don't know how to do a problem so naturally, I asked her. However, after she taught the same problem 4 times, I still didn't get it. I was afraid she would get mad, but she didn't and in the end when I finally got it, I asked her why she is so patient. She simply replied "practice makes perfect", an old…

The best type of role model is one that teaches a good life lesson. What’s part of a good life lesson? A good life lesson stays with you whole life. A good lesson affects their life in a way that changes in a good way. You also gain new characteristic from life lessons; an example is courage, bravery or confidences. “While many American children believe athletes motivate them to follow their dreams, they’re also mimicking the bad behavior of their sports heroes on the playing field, a new…

A second way that I feel I am a good role model would be being punctual, this is important and it indicates that you want to be wherever you are and shows that you’re professional in what you do. In the setting if I were to always arrive late and after the children did they may think that I am not interested in being there but it may impact them in later life as they may go on to think that being on time is not important.…

In life there is always a person, or role model that you will look up to and admire. A person may admire their role model, or mentor, because of their looks, wit, or even general personality. No matter who you are there is always someone that you attempt to emulate in some way, shape, or form throughout your life. There is no limit to the amount of role models one person can have. There may only be one person whose ideas you look at and agree with whole heartedly, or you may take portions from a vast number of others in order to create your own unique persona, and ideas. For myself, a prominent mentor was my high school Chemistry and Physics teacher, Mr. Robert Hage.…

My grandfather has and always will be my role model. I treasure many memories of him and I devoting our time to serving of our community. He led a local food pantry that required him to continually shop for food, then deliver it to his food pantry. About five years ago, together we made numerous Thanksgiving baskets. On Thanksgiving morning, we rode in his filled up truck and delivered them to countless families who may have not been able to experience the typical holiday meal without some assistance.…

A good role model is someone who can make positive choices on his or her own. They are a person that people especially young kids can look up to in hopes to follow in their footsteps. They do not have to be famous but as a whole, they need to live a life that allows people to want to achieve goals and try to do the right things. I think mentors should be role models, BUT a role model who hasn't forgotten where s/he came from, how s/he got to where s/he is now and always looking back to see if s/he can help those that came from the very same place and positive role model should be encouraging and must have ability to recognised the qualities of employees working under his/her and a positive role model should show his/her technical ability and time management skills as well.…

The term role model generally means any "person who serves as an example, whose behaviour is emulated by others". The individual that I chose from a young age to emulate my behavior off of is Spongebob Squarepants. He is a sponge that lives at the bottom of the ocean in a town called Bikini Bottom, where he works at a local burger restaurant called the Krusty Krab. He’s not my hero in the idea that he lives alone and works in fast food for his entire life but because he is the most loyal and determined individual that I can think of. He taught me that no matter how old you are, to never let go of your inner child.…
