My Room Profile Essay
Do you ever wonder why certain places mean so much to certain people? When I think of my bedroom, I realize why some people are so crazy about locking their doors and not letting anyone inside it and touch their stuff. My bedroom is the place where I can sit back and relax. It is the only place where I can get away from the world, away from the stressing college student life; a place away from work and rude customers, that even though no matter how nice you are to them, there’s always someone that finds the way to bring your mood down. A place when I can have my own privacy and be as comfortable as I want. Also, my room is where I keep my personal belongings and the things that are important to me and do not want anyone else to touch.
My bedroom is the most important place in my house. The reason my bedroom is so important to me is because my room holds all of my personal belongings, which are very important to me. Even my dog Fiona knows she’s not supposed to go in my room. When the door is open, she just stares at me but never goes inside. The way my room is set up is a little messy, but it’s the way I like it. Last summer I worked cleaning foreclosed homes and sometimes we would go to these really nice houses and find a lot of nice stuff and keep. Most of it was garbage, but there were some houses where we would find great stuff. I love nice things as well as vintage antique objects. I feel like I’m hoarding all these nice things since we were able to bring anything we wanted.
Most of my furniture is black, since the first thing I bought was a black bed frame and decided to buy everything else black as well. On the opposite wall from my bed there is a built-in book shelf wall. The book shelf is divided in three sections. The middle section is where the TV is placed. On top of the TV are a bunch of video games I rarely play since I don’t have time anymore. On the left side I have my collection of movies. I have 596 movies so far. They are

    3. My best friend, Lilian Martinez, is the type of girl to fill her room with many objects that remind her of a time or place that brought her happiness. In her room, her walls are filled with an annoying amount of pictures and the shelves are saturated with souvenirs and memorabilia. She says that her hoarding began when she realized that her parents did not have things they could share with her from their younger days. She vowed that her children would know the type of person she was growing up…

“I love to have fun! It is in my blood.” Doug speaks this way as if to show signs of life enjoyment behind scarred mental anguish. This is a man who was diagnosed dead in the back of an ambulance and fell into a coma. Doug is not lying when he says he likes to have fun because he is a man suffering from a severe brain injury due to his passion for fun and the thrill of excitement. He was young and doing want any young boy likes to do with a four-wheeler and that his go fast. Laura Stone, writer for dontjudgeme.com, writes; “Speaking of those toys… While speeding on his quad (ATV) sans helmet, he smacked into a partially hidden tree stump and flew up in the air an estimated 80 to 120 feet, coming straight down on his head. As he lay there convulsing, the ambulance made its way through the bracken to him. He died in the back of it as they raced back to the hospital, but was able to be brought back to life. I made my way across the parking lot, towards the entrance to the gym. As I reached the double doors I paused, then slowly turning, I attempted to take in as much of the outside view as I could. I saw a green meadow dotted with a few thoughtfully placed picnic tables, a few baseball, and soccer fields. I also noticed that this place is home to a busy skateboard park right beside a well-kept playground. My pan of the scene had revealed to me that this place has grown into something more than what I had remembered it to be. Today this center welcomes people of all ages. In contrast, when the U.S. Air Force ran this facility it was for military personnel and their adult dependents. It was a simple gymnasium with a couple of minimally groomed baseball diamonds and multipurpose fields, lacking any beauty. Today, the sturdy old building and surrounding fields are a beautiful sight to behold, and maintained by a local community services organization. The quick survey of the sports center had reminded me that this place is still serving the community in a big way with its available venues and activities.…

One theme that is great for any age boy is a cabin theme. This is perfect for little boys and older boys because most boys enjoy camping in the outdoors or even fishing or hiking. The best thing about this type of room theme is it can even bring back pleasant memories for each parent. Decorating the room is easy you simply have to find wallpaper borders that remind you of a cabin in the woods, which can be moose or even bears. You can use animal themed bedding or you can choose plaid patterns, which the plaid often reminds you of flannel pajamas that you wear in the winter while camping out. You can add natural accessories or you can buy stuff to help decorate the room, you can even use rustic furniture, such as wooden chests for toys and a log style bed.…

The kitchen is decorated with polished wooden cabinets and a squeaky clean stove that shows your reflection when staring down upon it. There is also a fridge in the back of the kitchen and the trash bin resides next to the fridge. Touring the rest of the apartment there is my bedroom, my sister’s room and the master bedroom. My room suits all my needs; whether it be sleeping, eating, studying, or relaxing. My getaway place is my room. There are two twin beds in my room, and a closet full of shoes and clothes. A 50 inch television sits on top of the only black sleek dresser in the room. My room is usually where I invite all my friends over and throw parties. In my sister’s room there is a formal setup, just a simple king sized bed and a beige headstand where she keeps her television. In the hallway there is a treadmill where users can burn off calories and improve cardio. There are two bathrooms in the apartment, inside them are white walls and brown tiles in the tub. Also a mirror is above the sink to make sure people arrange themselves properly before exiting. The master bedroom hosts a bathroom, closet, and a desktop on top of a glass computer…

When you walk into my room, on the left wall there is a white dresser that has 6 rectangular drawers, and above that is a crummy and dirty mirror (its old). On the dresser, there will be a tall Big Bird Funko Pop, and there are most likely to be fancy earrings on top of it. Next to that will be a small stack of designed notebooks and a variety of books with a bigger Cannon camera. Depending on the day there will be a tall and slim water bottle or a stout, white defuser and an essential oil next to it. Following the dresser, still on the left wall, is a worn out TV tray. On that, there is a Harley Quinn Funko Pop, an empty box of tissues, my gross iPad charger, along with my iPad, and my phone charger. A little above the TV tray is a large…

My duck calls sit on my lamp and my pheasant feathers on my night stand. I don’t think I will move because we built this house it would be pointless to move. The two dogs we have are Ace, brown lab, and Bella, a teddy bear. Nicki was our black lab, but, we put her down not too long ago. I listen to country and hip hop music depending on my mood. Under my bed, I got all of the shoes, seven pairs are mine, three are of my mother, and each one of my brothers have two pairs. Next to my bed is a bookshelf divided in four sections, the one at the bottom is meant for my brother’s projects because they work way too much with computers and that kind of stuff which needs a lot of space, the next one is meant for David’s scholar books, upper is meant to my scholar books, but they are not as heavy or take as much space as my brothers’ books do, so I got some extra space for my CD’s and DVD movies, also some make-up stuff and my mother’s pills for her illness, lastly, in the top level of the bookshelf you can find my older brother’s…

    The objects in my house

    • 842 Words

First, Let me tell you about the objects in my room. There's my wonderful bed. I love my bed the most. Say i came home from a hard day of work and school, my bed would be there to comfort me, it really would understand how tired i am. The silky, warm sheets and comforter are so warm and smell of home. as soon as i lay my head on the soft pillow, i dream on and on. I consider it my best friend because i always want us to be together. I believe that it has my best interest at heart and is looking out for me all of the time. Then there's my alarm clock. It's after me, i just know it. It's so jealous of my relationship with my bed that it's always trying to tear us apart. So childlike. The thing plots against me all night and then get me every morning at about 5:15. It the worst object of them all. I' ll talk about the plant in the corner of my room now. That darn plant is in cahoots with the alarm clock, it always makes this funny shape at night when i turn the light off so that it makes a weird shadow on the ceiling that scares me. Then when i turn the light on to check, it acts normal again. Sneaky. Luckily i have my pretty pink lamp on my nightstand to turn on so i can keep an eye on it. Last but not least, it's my tv. I think it plots against me too sometimes because it brings on all of the good shows as soon as i try to do my homework, always trying to distract me.…
