My Self Assessment
By doing the self-assessment, I confirmed that I believe in myself, am responsible for my own actions, and I am motivated to make great things happen in my life. Also I confirmed overall I am a happy person that can control my emotions in different situations.
The scores that I was higher in is due to them being instilled in me since a child and up to a young adult and then me finding them important and embracing them as part of life, where my lower scores are more education based that I did not feel important to me at the time. I am not surprised with the results, and I do not disagree with the assessment results. I am happy with my higher scores I received knowing that I believe in myself and have the courage to learn, change, and succeed in anything I put my mind to.

I also need to search with in myself to identify any habits that might hinder my success and this will come from trial and error.
I feel I scored lower in these area do to me not embracing education in my early life and my attitude of I can do it

At the beginning of the Civil War the Union and Confederacy both had their own advantages and disadvantages. Neither the Union nor the Confederacy were prepared for war, however the North had a few advantages the South did not. The Union had more soldiers, more factories, and better railroads than the Confederacy. On the other hand, they were defending their homeland, the Confederacy had better morale and drive (Stewart). The higher levels of morale in the South, however, did not make up for their disadvantages in the beginning of the war.…

Interpolation and extrapolation is the process used to derive AE scores. This is not an accurate representation of scores. It is an educated manipulation of numbers based on examinees and applied into a CA score graph. The scorers plot the AE scores into a graph developed by estimating information and not collecting data from those given the test. This leads to a further concern of scores not representing a standard to compare examinee’s results. The lack of a standardization does not give equal intervals to compare progress or a mean between…

My score was 45 out of 75. The assessment score indicates that I am not as good of a listener as I think I am. The area I need to focus on is learning how to be more attentive when listening. It also says that I need to focus more on a person when they are talking and allow them to finish their ideas without interruption.…

After taking the self-assesment I have discovered a few thing I did not know about myself. I figured out my strengths and weaknesses and have found out I am a successful student! One of my highest scores was in 'Accepting Personal Reponsibility' another was 'Mastering Self-Management'. I am very well organized and it is very unlikely for me to not accept responsability when I am at fault. My lowest score was 'Believing In Myself' which was hard to believe since I always try to push myself past any challenge.…

My final grade in Trigonometry for the Fall Term was a 61%. I do not believe this score truly represents my ability. I believe this because I procrastinated and clowned around a lot of the time. For example: I would wait until the day before the test to start studying, I later on learned that this tool is not made for success. Another example: I would joke around with my classmates all the time even when they were trying to work, then I realized this tool is not a good tool for success.…

When I was in high school I was regarded by my family and teachers as a bright student. My mom always bragged about my report card because I received mostly A's and a few B's. I graduated with a 3.86 GPA. I went on to attend Sacramento City College where I did not make it past the first semester. I was devastated to realize that what I had relied on in high school to excel did not work for me in college. I lacked the tools necessary to continue in my education. A person's education cannot be measured by the mark they receive in a given test or class, but rather by their ability to understand, solve, and apply the solution to the problems and challenges they are presented with in life.…

Even though I excelled in any math given to me, especially on standardized tests. My writing never felt good to me even if I did okay on the standardized tests. It was always a struggle for me to finish on time and completely while most of my friends finished so easily with a lot of time left over. My school was a very competitive environment ever since my mom placed me in the gifted program, so even if I scored above average on tests it never felt good enough compared to how some of the other students were scoring. After being called exemplary and excellent all my life, scoring anything that was not a perfect score made me feel like I was a failure that would not go anywhere in life.…

I was impressed with how accurate my results were. Initially I was conflicted about the intuition versus thinking indicator. I would normally consider myself a thinker by standard definition of the word, but to see that in this case thinkers versus feelers actually has more to do with making decision based on a set of values versus plain logic changes my self definition. Although I may have a very non traditional set of values, I still hold myself accountable to those ideals.…
