My Summer Vacation
After a hard school year we have a wonderful time for our plesure and relaxing. One of the summer months i visited bright and hospitable country Vietnam !!! I was inspired of my travelling into another summer country ! Me and my family were in two cities Xo Chi Min and Nha Chang . The climate there for us were unaccustomed : very wet and hot ,like in Turkish bath-house ! Vietnamese people are very kindfull , pretty , with sincere smiles !!! I was really defeated about there amazing patience and optimistical mood in such country with not easy weather and bad economic. The most interesting part in our vacation was island monkey .
It is an island with about 1000 independent monkeys !!! They are not friendly , always hungry , but very clever animals. I was afraid of their severe glance . My sister ang i bought peanuts .She stuffed food into her pockets of jumpsuit , than we happily wandered to these nimble animals. The most interesting part waited my sister. She was standing around vocarious herbivorous predators!!! And suddenly three insolent monkeys get on my sister !!!! Everyone was suprised and began to do funny pictures of my sister and her guests on her back!!! BUT THE MOST SCARE THING WAS PEANUTS in her pocket . Monckeys searched her and couldnt understand from where was smell of food ! one of the monckey crawled under a pant leg . but afterunlucky searching every offended monckey got out of her . After our visiting the island we went back to hotel .
I think i will not forget it

How can someone be claimed as insane? In the case of Andrea Yates, she was found not guilty by reasons of insanity. Clearly Andrea Yates was insane because of what she did. Andrea Yates murdered her five children. Andrea Yates has thought about killing her children for quite a while before she really did kill her children. Her husband Rusty Yates knew about his wife trying to kill their children and caught Andrea before she did it the first time. Andrea Yates attempted to kill her kids before and she didn’t kill them in earlier attempts because she didn’t think she was ready. I believe that Andrea Yates was insane because she has pre-planned killing her kids before and she finally did it.…

In the world of politics, one of the most important things is who you know. Knowing people will bring a politician success. Chris Matthew stressed one-on-one communication and “retail politics” in this first chapter of his book. He knows firsthand because he was in Washington for many years observing and learning. Not only is it necessary to know as many people as possible, but it is also important to make the person feel that their concerns are cared for on a personal level. Knowing people is not only important in the political world, but it is also important in the real world. The more people you know, the more opportunities will arise for you. In the book Chris Matthew talks about how many popular politicians rose to the top because they made the effort to get to know everyone, especially those who are important. This can apply to any work environment. Networking is a very important part of life. It is important for all of us to remember to treat each person with care because they will potentially be important in our lives.…

After my first week of the Summer Bridge Program at Penn St-Abington, I learned a lot about the differences between high school and college. I really understand in high school that you must be there during the allotted hours, success rides on the teacher, and that we can get away from not reading the text for class and in college you have more freedom, harder courses, and longer hours of studying. We learned how to become an efficient and effective learner. What I learned from that lesson is that, I have to focus much more and study much harder then what I did in high school. Also that college is no joke since it’s a privilege and that high school is a right that we have to go. To me the most effective strategy I learned is how to become a better listener and how to be a successful student in college. The way I’m going to be a better listener is by using study strategies, note taking strategies and go to a tutoring center if I have trouble. What I learned so far relates to the present is that some strategies I never used or thought about. In the future, I’m going to use tutoring center or use the professor’s office time for any question I don’t understand. In conclusion, I learned so far is going to change the way I look at college. I understand now that college is no place to mess around. It’s a place where you chose what you want to do in the long…

The bible clearly states that God does not hold two standards: one for young adults and one for adults. He has high expectations for both. Our culture might expect little, God expects great things and calls us to be examples. “Breaking the twine” is an introduction to what the book is about to teach you. It urges you to break free of the low expectations of society and fulfill Gods purpose for our teen years.…

Over the weekend I went to universal studio with my little brother, friends and their three kids. We all got in the van and drove five hours to Los Angeles. And with four kids all under the age of ten is not easy. We had to play Disney music the whole ride there so the two year old wouldn’t cry. And all we can hear is “let it go” from the back seat all the way there. When we got there we had so much fun. We went on all the rides, the kids loved transformers and the minions, and mine was the mummy and Jurassic park rides, then we went on the tour and saw where all the movies were shot at. And part of the tour we got chased by one of the character with a knife. And we went on a 3-D ride for part of the tour, and saw Godzilla and some dinosaurs. My little brother didn’t like that part, he cried, but after the tour he was fine. It coasted me my whole check but it was worth it to spend time with my little brother. I don’t get to see him a lot, due to work, so I decided to take him on this vacation. The ticket alone was $176, the food cost us $190 a day, each game cost $20, and souvenirs cost us $150. After universal studio we went to Hollywood walk of fame. We saw our favorite celebrities’ stars like Michal Jackson, Robin Williams, Walt Disney, Shirley Temple, and Mickey Mouse the kids love see that and learning more about them. We also saw some people dressed up as super heroes the kids were confused of the four spiders man, two super man, and the batman. All my friends and I can do was laugh at their faces. We had to explain to them how their not the real hero’s just people dressed up like them. The only problem was that the super heroes wanted ten dollars a picture, what a rip off. Then we went to the Hollywood sign where we took some really funny photo that looks like the kid are holding up the sign. Then we went to the…
