My Trip To California Research Paper
I went to California this last summer to go to my uncles who lives there.I flew for the first time when I went to California. When we were on The plain getting ready to start flying.I went to California in 2017 for a month.I Had a pretty good time while I was their.

I started to flip out because their was a problem in the plane and we had to sit there for an hour. Then we switched plains and I got really scared my heart was pounding. I thought I was going to pass out. I had my eyes closed for the first ten minutes of the plain ride. After that I was fine for the whole plane ride.

Then we went to a buffalo wild wings restaurant and ate dinner. After we were done, we went to our hotel. The next day we went to my uncle's house and picked up

The next day we went an amusement park.I had to ride on the rides with my brother that were really tall.I wouldn't have gone but my grandma wouldn't go with my brother unless I went with them on the rides. I don't like heights so that was fun for my little brother. He was laughing hysterically watching me be scared of the rides.

Later in the trip we went to sea world. We got to see the last show where they were right next to you and you could touch the orcas. We also got to feed seals with little fish. Then a little after we got to watch the dolphins do tricks. Then at the end of the trip we went to some museums. They had a museum about cannibals. It had some weird facts about cannibals like the things they thought would cure the disease they got when they ate other people. We also went to a zoo for one of the last days before we had to go home. We got to see lots of animals like giraffes, gorillas and lots of different birds.

In all it was a fun trip. I got to see a lot of cool things.I got to see new animals. I got to see the ocean for the first time in reel life. I got to see orcas and get soaked by them. I got to see gorillas and feed seels. I am more open minded after this trip because I used to be really

But I left the window open so I got a finger in my hair. Than I have to find a sink hole like in the Simpsons to go back to my normal life. On day four we went to see Tulum historical site. It was exactly 98.1766 miles from our hotel. It was very interesting and informational as well as educational Mr. Werner would've been proud. We than went to Cancun adventure at Selvatica to take in some extreme Ziplining, bungee swing, and Centoe swim. It was an awesome adrenaline rush. I highly recommend the company we used because, they showed us an extraordinary time and only cost us $397.98. The company's name is Selvatica and they specialize in Ziplining. On day five we were bushed but we felt we could take in some shopping, so we went to the La Isla shopping center to buy some souvenirs. I spent $100 and so did Owen and we got so much cool stuff with the money. We also ate at a roadside stand, I never knew you could buy a whole cooked fish at a roadside stand but I guess it is a local delicacy. It only cost us $6 each. That night we were sad to leave. But, we will never forget our Mexico beach vacation and we can't wait to go back. For the whole entire trip it only cost us a total of…

California’s San Joaquin Valley is highly recognized for its abundance in agriculture. Hispanics and Latinos make up about more than half the population in Tulare County, many of who are field workers. The prevalence of undocumented people and low-income earners in Tulare County forces them to be unable to remove themselves from living in low-income communities. About 95% of people in the San Joaquin Valley rely on groundwater for drinking. The agricultural use of intensive irrigation systems allows fertilizers to leach into nearby water systems. By researching the prevalence of nitrates, forms when nitrogen fertilizer enters water systems, in Tulare County, examining the various factors and players involved, I will demonstrate how this affects…

GRAND CAYMAN REMINDED ME OF THE CLASSIC SEA SIDE TOWN, LAID BACK ATMOSPHERE, WINDY SALTY SEA AIR, THE ONLY THING MISSING WAS A LIGHTHOUSE. IT WAS A VERY PEACEFUL FEELING THERE. I HAD BOOKED AN EXCURSION WITH A PLACE CALLED CAPTAIN RON’S AND WE WENT OUT BY BOAT FIRST STOPPING AT THE BARRIER REEF AND THEN ENDING THE DAY BY SWIMMING WITH STINGRAYS. AT THE REEF ONE OF OUR GUIDES WAS AN EXCELLENT FREE DIVER AND HE ASKED US ALL TO HOP INTO THE WATER WITH HIM AND ONCE WE DID HE TOLD US ABOUT A ‘FRIENDLY’ NURSE SHARK THAT LIVED IN THE AREA HE WAS HOPING WOULD STOP BY (THANK GOD SHE DIDN’T) AND AFTER ASKING US ALL TO PUT ON OUR SNORKEL GEAR HE DOVE DOWN ABOUT 20 FT AND COAXED A HUGE MORAY EEL OUT OF ITS DEN. IT WAS A GOOD 5 FT LONG AND VERY TEMPERMENTAL, IT SCARED ME TO BE REAL HONEST. ONCE DONE THERE WE WERE ON TO THE STINGRAYS. DID YOU KNOW THAT GRAND CAYMAN HAS THE ONLY HUMAN FRIENDLY POD OF STINGRAYS IN THE WORLD? WE FED THEM AND PET THEM AND THEY SWAM RIGHT UP AGAINST US. WE WERE TOLD THAT KISSING A RAY ON THE HEAD WAS 7 YEARS GOOD LUCK. I DID IT AND SO FAR I’TS BEEN 4 YEARS AND I CAN TELL YOU THERE IS NO TRUTH TO THAT MYTH. LOL. SO AFTER ANOTHER WHOLE DAY IN THE WATER WE WERE BACK ON THE SHIP AND HEADING FOR…

Six California’s Six California’s, proposed by a man named Tim Draper, is an idea in which California is to be split into six, individual states. This idea is said to be an opportunity for California to start fresh and to create a better future for the citizens. As of right, California is facing numerous problems that are impossible for just one governor to attempt to solve, but creating six California’s allows us to fix those problems. The current proposition to split California into six individual states gives us an opportunity to solve the many problems we face, such as poor representation, however it could create more problems than it solves. To begin, currently in California, we are not all well represented.…

It was an amazing drive! I was surprised that California was so beautiful. Towering redwood trees lined much of the drive, along with farms for almost any fruit or vegetable I could imagine. When we could finally see the coastline, it was breathtaking. We passed through a few small coastal towns and saw countless fresh produce stands on the side of the highway. We stopped for lunch at a Thai restaurant in Moss Landing, CA. The food was amazing, and we could see the ocean from our table! The day was already a success in my book. When we arrived in Monterey, we drove down to Cannery Row and parked the car. We strolled around all of the different shops for a couple of hours, and then we headed even farther down the coast. We stopped at a parking area that overlooked quite possibly the most scenic place I had ever seen. There were huge waves crashing on giant boulders in the ocean. We just sat there and watched the waves crash for at least an hour. The salty smell…

The best trip I have ever went on was when my family and I went to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. My aunt was getting married and my mom’s side of the family was invited to come. We got to go on this vacation last February. We left very early one morning and we went to the airport. It was very cold and the air was very dry. We got to the airport in Sioux Falls and we went through security and waited to get on the plane. Once we finally got on the plane I was very excited to get there. We had a connection in Minneapolis and we had a direct flight from Minneapolis all the way to Punta Cana. Once we finally got to Punta Cana, we were getting off the plane and I could feel the humid, warm air. We had to wait in a very long line to go through customs. After that, we got on a taxi that took us to our resort. The roads in the Dominican Republic are not much different from the roads in the U.S. They still had stop lights, billboards, and the same traffic rules. One big difference we saw on the way to the…

It was finally starting to get dark, so we decided to go back to the house. On our fourth day, we were going to go to Virginia Beach. It’s about two hours from my aunt’s house so we left kind of early to get there around eleven o’clock. While we were there my grandparents went to one of those side shops, the ones that sell clothes and other items. Anyway, they went and bought a ton of different souvenirs. Everyone looked at my grandparents and laughed. They looked…

I am sure it happened as easily as this: We were sitting around the garage shooting the bull during a cold winter snap. Thoughts turned to motorcycle rides and things spring and summer. For once, it wasn’t me. Mrs. K was the one to mention going to California. We hadn’t taken a trip the summer before, and she said, “We ought to ride to California and take the PCH along the coast.” Probably, no one jumped up and started packing, but several certainly starting thinking. One mention leads to another mention which leads to final plans. For me, it was a dream I have had since I watched Then Came Bronson and spent my time reading On the Road. For all of us, we researched the trip and found places and things…

On the plane ride I had plenty of time to reflect on the impact this trip had on…
