My Trip to Six Flags

Wow! Look at that roller coaster and its speed and all of the timorous people on it. That’s what you expect to see when you go to Six Flags. Yes, finally the day I go to Six Flags, I felt overjoyed I was so excited! All I could see was roller coasters everywhere. As soon as we were walking to buy our tickets all I could hear was all the fearful people on the rides. I was eager. The line to buy tickets was long but I knew it was going to be worth it. “About time!” I thought to myself as we finally brought our tickets. Now it’s fun time, no wait now all eight of us have to use the bathroom. That took like ten minutes. I felt so excited to finally go on a ride. We were going to stay the whole day, so we went to the water park first, because that section of the park closed earlier. Wow! I thought to myself this is amazing. It was a nice place for my mom and dad to hang out and for us to go on many rides. The first ride that caught my attention was a ride that you lay down on a sled and slide and race with five other people. It was a blast! There was a lot more stuff to explore like the Texas Pool, Water Park, and swirling slides. My big brother and sister and my little brother rode almost every single waterslide. After we went to the bathroom and changed our wet cloth to our dry cloth, we headed straight for the roller coaster. I’m not going to lie, I was afraid if most of them, but my big brother told me it’s not scary it is fun. That made me feel brave and bold. The first ride I rode was the Fiesta Texas, where you go up and fall straight down. I was terrified, but after I saw a five year old looking boy get off, I wasn’t going to let him be braver than me. It was finally my turn. When we were going higher, I could see the people as dots, I thought in my mind I

When you're a kid you would never think of almost dying at sesame place, but that's exactly what happened to me. As my family and I entered the park, my eyes grew with amazement as I looked around me. There were zooming roller coasters, families laughing, toddlers running around with a sugar high from all the cotton candy they ate, and especially the terrifying, enormous, gray and blue water slide, I looked at the slide with fear and excitement in my eyes. I knew right then and there that I was going to go on that slide no matter the consequences.…

My church was having a trip to Six Flags and I didn’t want to miss it. Since we are in Killen and Dallas is a 3hr drive we decided to leave early (I’m guessing that’s the reason why). I got to church sometime around 6:30- 6:45 and left sometime around 7:00. We talked, listened to music and slept like on any trip. And it wasn’t all that exciting till we actually got there. Since this was my first trip there, i was VERY excited and anxious to ride the roller coasters. So we got there and walked around and decided to ride the titan. The Titan was the craziest roller coaster of them all. Now when you’ve never been on a roller coaster, the one thing you don’t know is that, they are MUCH bigger then they look. Before I actually rode the Titan, I did not think we were going to be so high up. We just kept going up..... And up..... And up...... and up..... And up.....…

At the beginning of this past summer my family and I decided to go to Branson. While we were there we did Silver Dollar City. We went in after 3 on Sunday and got Monday free because of the deal the park has. On the last day at the park I finally decided that I was going to ride Wildfire; Silver Dollar City’s biggest roller coaster. The reason I finally concluded to ride it was because I did not know the next time that I would get back; I wanted to be able to say I rode it and did not want to regret or always have wished that I would have. As my family and I walked up to ride Wildfire, I had butterflies the whole time. We walked right onto the roller coaster. As we sat down in the seats I clicked in the buckles and pulled my harness down.…

I helped him in and we settled as we waited for the ride to start. We had decided that we wanted to spin extra fast. We began spinning the wheel together, and the cup started spinning. The other small children watched us in awe as our tea cup began to resemble a green blurr. All of a sudden, lights turned on and the cups began moving! The dizziness hit me almost immediately. The air was filled with our laughter, the tickle in my stomach was unbearable. What once were purple, blue, pink, green, yellow tea cups were now a rainbow of color and people. And just like that, we were slowing down. My brother and I had not once let go of the wheel or stopped turning itm our knucles were yellow from our firm grips. As I took my hand off the wheel I felt it was also drenched with sweat. We stumbled out of the giant green tea cup and headed toward our mother. We must've looked ridiculous and wind-blown because she laughed as soon as she saw us. The joyous feeling I had never left me as I got older. Our trips to Florida were always what my family and I looked forward to. That day was enough to convince me that Disney World was truly the happiest place on…

It was a warm spring day and there was a small breeze. I was on a band trip to Six Flags that I had been waiting for all year. Me and some friends were waiting in line for the Texas Giant. It would be the biggest roller-coaster I had ever rode. I wasn’t a big fan of roller-coaster because I had barely been on any before. It was almost our turn to go, and I asked myself, “can I really do this?” Roller-coasters were one of my fears, I didn’t think I could do it, We just got on the ride and I looked up and thought that I was crazy for getting on it.…

Have you ever gone to Kansas City to go to worlds of fun? I have; I had to sit in a car for five hours in a tight space. It’s pretty easy, but you always need to stretch and go to the bathroom. We finally made it. When I first saw the rides I almost passed out, that’s how awesome it is. My family and I gave them our tickets and said can we all go on that one, my mom said yeah let’s all go on it. First we got on, then it started it was already going fast, speeding up every second. We were all holding on tight, all of us got dizzy. We did a loop and it stopped. That was the best ride ever, I said. We went on and finally got on our last ride the best one yet, right when I got strapped I was really nervous, the guy pressed the button. It was…

    My Defining Moment

On one trip to Great America, my cousins and brother ditched me to ride a ride called Psycho Mouse which had crazy turns, but most importantly, had drops. Feeling dejected, I sat next to my mom who also disliked roller coasters. “I guess it’s in my dreams” I bitterly thought. Seeing my crestfallen expression, my mom called my dad over. He hurriedly sprinted over thinking we were in danger, but when he saw we were just both sitting on the bench without a single scratch, he inquisitively asked what was wrong. My mom explained that I felt left out and a determined expression soon filled my dad’s face. He took my hands and dragged me until we stood in front of what looked like a snoopy mini roller coaster. At that moment, I couldn’t distinguish what kind of emotions I felt. My feelings of anger because he knew I was deathly afraid, embarrassment because I was the oldest kid there, and maybe even a twinge of hope (although I’d never admit it) jumbled up leaving me an anxious mess. My dad dragged me to the seats kicking and screaming while the attendant of the ride watched us trying (but failing) to hold back a smirk. The first few seconds weren’t bad...until we hit the first drop.…

The second exciting day during summer vacation was at dorney park. It was my second American experience at water park but my first experience to sit in fast- moving roller coasters. In this park there were not only water rides but also roller coasters. There were many people, and the parking area was almost full by 10:00 A.M. We went the last Sunday of summer vacation. It was a cool day as the skies were cloudy with a few showers. While there we had to stand in a long line at each of the eight roller coasters. We sat on every water ride and roller coaster because we had a lot of time. We travelled in a small train whose horn was hurtting my ear. These were not the only two activities that were fun for me; I also visited a Hindu temple.…

We dashed off like a rocket to get my mom and my sister and we went again and it was a blast. My Dad figured out that there was a fast pass.
