My Vacation to Paris
My Wonderful Vacation in Paris When I was sixteen years old, I took a trip to, Paris, France with my family; it was my first trip out of the country and my first time in an airplane. During my vacation, we enjoyed visiting many places that I usually saw on television such as the Eiffel Tower, the Triumph Arc, and the Champs Elysees.
After a long flight, we arrived at Charles de Gaulle airport, it was very big and very organized ,and we met people from all around the world .we were so exhausted from the three hours flight, but so happy and excited to discover the City of light and its magic. Next, we took a cab to get to our beautiful hotel in downtown Paris. On our way, we had a really good conversation with our driver; he was very nice and helpful with his funny French accent. At the hotel we decided to take a nap to relax and recover before our excursion start.
The first thing that we visited, it was the Louvre Museum it was very big that we have not been able to go through the entire place , it was very educational and interesting ,so I had a chance to see the beautiful Mona Lisa, which is one of the biggest paint in the history .
After we climbed 627 steps to reach to top of the famous Eiffel Tower, which is one of the amazing monuments in the world. So, i enjoyed the view from the top, and i was able to see all the lights of Paris, the river, and the Champs Elysees which is one of the most beautiful streets in the entire world, also we have enjoyed our dinner in one of the restaurants located on this street where i had a chance to discover the magic, and flavors of a French kitchen which is of the best kitchen in the world, and also some Bordeaux wine .
Finally, went to Park des Princes stadium to watch a soccer game for prestigious local team called Paris Saint German; it was a semi finale of the European champions’ league. I was amazed by the ambiance and loved how the fans were supporting the players to push them to win that game.
The beauty of Paris, the capital of the lights and fashion changed my way of thinking. I appreciate the history of the art work, the architecture and the French culture. So a good trip can really change my life.

One of the most memorable moments I have experienced was four years ago, when I traveled from Matamoros, Tamaulipas to San Antonio, Texas. I had the opportunity of visiting San Antonio for the first time, and more importantly, of spending time with my family who I had not seen in years prior to the trip. Spending time with my family is of great value and importance to me, so I became utterly excited to see them as soon as I had the chance.…

Some people say that the journey is the destination. That was very true for our trip. We stopped at many wonderful and exciting places along the way, such as an abandoned salt mine in Kansas where we were able to venture deep into the mine. That was a strange and unique experience for me. We also stopped in Tulsa, Oklahoma to see the University of Tulsa. I actually got to go play around on their real game field. That was one of the coolest things that I have ever been able to do on a college campus. We also went to see Mount Rushmore for a second time. It was just as majestic and breathtaking the second time around. It truly is one of the…

We took this trip during summer break. My wife and I decided this trip so all of our family can go together. My father in law and I were taking turns driving it took us about 12 hours to get to Louisiana. The ride was very exhausting for everybodyI had gotten tired so my father in law took the wheel. My wife woke me up as soon as we got to the bridge; to cross to Louisiana I was so excited to see the water and all the trees that she had told me about. We went to her uncles house to sleep and to stay for the trip. After we slept we went to New…

We drove down in separate cars from Kentucky enduring about thirteen long hours of “fun” with my immediate family. We finally arrive in animal kingdom where we are staying in one of the Disney hotels. We get to our room and get settled in when I look out on the balcony and see giraffes, and antelopes, and peacocks walking around in my back yard. It was one of my favorite parts of this trip. We then go out to wait for the bus to take us to our first kingdom, epcot. I remember immediately being here as a child and know exactly what I want to go and do and see. Now being seventeen, I take one of my cousins and we go off on our own to see what we want to experience. We go to the science museum and learn about space and evolution which has through my high school years been very beneficial to me. Having fun and learning at the same time was great. I spend the entire next day going around to all the rides and enjoying them at least two times each. I couldn’t believe how much fun I was having. After that I went to the stores and got all the things I wanted to take back home to remember this trip…

It was a scorching summer day in Las Vegas and my dad and I were meandering around the city in awe of the size of everything. We were acutely aware that we had overdressed for the weather, having just left a chilly Illinois. It was the hottest place to which I had ever been. The both of us, father and son, were going to meet up with my grandpa to go to the Grand Canyon for one of the greatest trips ever. We were going white water rafting on the Colorado River for eight days.…

When my family and I were on vacation in Connecticut we decided to go the New York City. We got up in the morning and drove to the train station. We rode the train into Grand Central Station, it was very beautiful. The ceiling in the station was high and there was loads of light coming in from the windows. After we arrived at the station we walked to the Natural History Museum. We looked at all the exhibits, they were amazing and very interesting. Then we went to Central park and walked around for two miles. My family and I went to this pond in Central park that had a ton of turtles popping in and out of the water. Finally my family and I went to Times Square, it was absolutely amazing! The bright billboards were extremely cool! We walked around…

We just got off the plane and we are in Atlanta, Georgia. We came from Ohio and it was about an hour and a half to Atlanta. Atlanta is the biggest airport in the U.S.A. They had a big food court and a lot of shops to shop in. We were heading to gat D. We had to take the train, but we had to stop at A, B, C, and then finally, D. We had to go through security and that was the worst part. When we finally got finished with security we waited at our gate. After we got on the plane we took our seats then started to fly. I loved it when it was going up in the air because it felt like it was a roller coaster and you had that feeling like your belly is hollow. My sister and I watched the movie Pitch Perfect 2. It took about 312hours to get there but it…

Like it was yesterday I remember my first vacation on a cruise. My Dad and I went on a three- day long cruise to The Bahamas. I had never been on a cruise, so it was a new experience for me. The next morning we decided to go on tours and learn more about the city itself and the history that comes from it. When we got into our cab that was taking us to our destination, I looked out the window and was amazed at all the people who rode their bikes along the canals, under the beautiful trees and flowers over layering the sidewalks. I told my dad I wanted to rent a bike the rest of the way, so we got out of our cabs and found the closest bike rental. After realizing that the bike was way too tall for me and falling off a few times, I finally got the hang of it and we rode our bikes alongside the river until we reached the museum, The Louvre. Walking inside, it was astonishing to see the interest people take into consideration over the art. The way I’ve learned so much about this museum, it didn’t feel real to actually had step foot inside. Especially seeing the Mona Lisa, and how small it actually is. With glass, long red rope, and 2 body guards standing in front of this famous…

Secondly, another amazing trip was going to the school ‘La Source’. I know it’s not a big thing, but it was still really nice to meet them and we had so much fun with them! For instance, one time when we went to their school, we spent the whole afternoon doing experiments and testing things out. It was so funny, when mme Marie-Claude showed them the order to do an experiment, they all looked at her as if she was crazy! They had obviously never learned to do a laboratory report before! Another time, we went to their school again and we did improvisation. It was really great because they don’t have superb ideas when they go in the play, but in the end it all fits together and they…
