To keep up with my journal writing everyday so my writing would drastically improve automatically while reflecting back on my experience. (Language Arts)
2. To remember to do some pre-researching on my own time when I am informed on a certain topic before actually learning it. This way, I could really engage, fully understand what the teacher’s talking about during class time, and also connect to what I know of myself. This will not only make learning easier but I’d be able to get more out of it. (Work Ethic)
3. Finally, I want to be more comfortable and get better at communicating with others and be able to express my thoughts clearly and confidently.

The Writing Journey Revision is the act of revising, it is to correct, edit and redraft. When I begin to revise a paper, first I reread what I wrote then afterwards, I read it aloud, the human mind won’t necessarily point out the mistakes because the brain will correct what you read and implement it to what needs to be there. Depending on the topic or the importance of the paper, I’ll ask around for help, or sometimes I would ask a friend to edit my paper to point out my mistakes and learn from them. Ever since 8th grade I pushed myself to convert to an improved writer through the art of literature.…

During this class I have made two self- discoveries that will positively impact my career goals. Those self- discoveries has helped to mold, and shape me into a student that I have never thought I would be. Those discoveries were that I am an organized learner, because I made a study plan to help me determine when, and how I would study. Being that I have five children, I had to make sure that I had set a schedule so that my course work including study time would not affect my family time and take away from spending time with my children and fiance`. Since these are the competing priorities in my life right now learning to obtain trust and consistency in the home while I have been attending school has also improved because not only do I see my success so does my children and fiancé. Knowing that I had that support also has made it possible to do my best in school, setting the pace for them to do the same in school also, whether it be good grades, sports, etc. I know that they will continue to be good at what they do and have proven to do so time after time.…
