Myths, Fairy Tales, Legends And Brazilian Culture
Legends- A legend is based on history, embellished, told and retold.
Myths- Myths are based on religion, supernatural being, gods and demigods, explains natural phenomena.
Fairytales- Fairy tales are Fiction, false, unreal, magic. Fantastic elements, imagery creatures, Good and evil.
Fables- Fables are Fairy Tales, teaches lesson, uses animals (personification), consequence.
Tall tales- Tall tales are based on history. Blatant mistruths, some truth, told and retold.

Folklore- being as stories told around the campfire or at kitchen tables. Overtime the stories change because people try to make them more exciting, interesting, or meaningful.
The oral tradition has help the Brazilian culture because its has been spreaded mouth to mouth so the people nowadays in the culture now knows what went on centuries ago by their relatives or other gods along time ago told and it's just keeps getting told. The culture shaped folklore because some of the stuff could or could not be true, The oral tradition has reached the masses because stories of legend, myths, and fairy tales are always told daily.
Oral tradition is a big part of the growth of the community because when other people heard the stories that could or could not be true, it attracted them to the community because they believed the stories which is the same as nowadays. Which some people wanna be apart of it today. The culture would change a lot because people wouldn't have know the stories or historical event that went on 100 years before their time if it wasn't for oral tradition,.

Why the lamb is meek- Once upon a time there was a little lamb frisking gaily about the pasture. The bright sunshine and the soft breezes made him very happy. He had just finished a hearty meal and that made him happy too. Adventures of a fisherman's son- Long ago, there was a man and woman who lived in a little mud hut under the palm trees on the river bank. They had so many children they did not know what to do. The little hut was altogether too crowded.
Both fairy tales are made up using human characteristic but also using hyperbole because most fairy tales are stories with made up characters.
These fairy tales reflect the culture because they were told and retold many times many people believed them which brought them into the culture.
