The NAACP aided in reducing Black racial discrimination in the U.S. by fighting against their lynching and education discrimination. In the 20th century, the NAACP was at the forefront at condemning the killing of Blacks. It lobbied for the passing and enactment of anti-lynching bills which were prominent in the 1920s. Regardless of their failure in courts, its publicity improved and advanced political and legal pressure regarding the killing of Blacks. It has done so through fighting against the killing of Blacks, segregation, and promoting of Civil Rights. Promotion of Black Civil rights have been developed through a series of protests and court cases; in 1960, youth members of the organization carried out sit-ins. In 1948, NAACP helped a meeting with the then president and influenced the signing of the Executive order which led to the banning of racism. The organization also funded the Brown v Board of Education which resulted in the desegregation of Blacks in schools. It stopped the lynching of African Americans by engaging in a campaign against it. It supported the Dyer Bill which prosecuted anyone that was found harming or executing an African
