NAEYC Code Of Ethics

A Reflection on the code of ethics The code of ethical conduct is a guide set by NAEYC to set forth a common basis which outlines the ethical responsibility one should follow, aimed to better equip one as they embark in an atmosphere where they will be with children. This paper has provided me the opportunity to describe four importance sections in the code of ethics. My first goal is to highlight the important ethical responsibilities to children. I will continue with the ethical responsibilities to the family. Third, I aim to explain the important ethical responsibilities we have towards our colleagues. Finally, reflecting on the responsibilities to the community. In conclusion, I will summarize how this information places me in a path in which I can be a strong educator. .

RESPONSABILITIES TO CHILDREN
Our most important principal is to never harm or do anything that may cause children harm. Educators must, also, carrying out appropriate methods which may help create a healthy learning environment for every child. When we allow ourselves the opportunity to know our students family; we help build a relationship which is beneficial to the Childs learning experience. As educators, we must use developmentally appropriate practices so we can make better assessments allowing us to build on their specific curriculum needs. Our responsibilities include never discriminating again children or excluding them for any reason. Educators should be open to opinions given by parents or different staff involved, and never making assessment solely on one's opinion.
