Contribution: Action Officer (AO) managing the development and revision to NAVSEA 04RM Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) Program instructions, guides and technical authority documentation. The primary purpose of NAVSEA 04RM METCAL documentation is to provide critical policy guidance to Program Managers, Lab Managers, Lead Auditors and Auditors managing and/or conducting laboratory audit certifications that results in Navy Calibration Laboratories operating at an optimum level. However, the four METCAL documents listed below were antiquated (10 to 20 years old) requiring deep revisions and/or complete rewrites.
