Pelusi explains how most people fear sharing their opinion and thoughts; mostly out of fear of negative judgment and scorn. He then goes on to express how most people tend to negatively over-exaggerate what the public will do in response to them expressing their opinions. Charles Darwin is referred to by Pelusi as an example of why people should speak up and be assertive about what they believe. Darwin feared the feedback he would receive if he published his Theory of Evolution, which had a high chance of being harshly frowned upon by the predominantly Creationist and Fundamentalist society.
