Things to change about Napavine High School
Have you ever thought what it would be like to actually have a good lunch? Well let me tell you something about it, I do all the dang time! Could you ever imagine going to a school where you wouldn't have to worry about your well being at times? If your answer is yes to any of these questions, let me explain to you what we could do to improve them.
First things first our school lunch. The lunch that Napavine high school provides to us honestly isn't the worst thing, but when you only have 3 of the same things every week for the whole year it kinda gets old and disgusting really quick. If we had off school campus, we would have many options for lunches such as McDonald's, Burger King, Gas station,
Deli food or even just going to a grocery store to find a snack sounds 10 times better than eating our school lunch. But there should be regulations in order to be able to go off campus to get lunch. I feel like a strong one would attendance record and disciplinary record. If you have a good attendance record it shows that you're capable to be on time to class and arriving back in time for class after you get back from eating. The second is that should be an upper class man and have above a 2.0 GPA. The reason for being an upper class man is because you usually show a tendency to be more responsible because you had to wait and earn it so it makes you respect it a lot more.
Another thing I would change is our school security. To many students go to school scared and frightened. If we hired a school security officer and got a metal detector so before when you walk into school the school officer would catch you if you had any drugs or weapons on you. It would make the students, the teachers, and mostly yourself safer than you felt before. The security guard would walk around during the passing times and lunch times to make sure mischievous wouldn't happen. Napavine school district would only have to pay 4,000-5,000 dollars for a metal detector. Metal Detectors can and are one of the safest things to have at your school. It can detect guns, knives, or anything that is a weapon from entering on our school property.
