Plenty of people would argue that certain individuals are born with leadership qualities, but that is wrong. Instead, it is acquired through hard work and motivation. Many people have became political or military leaders either to gain power, to stand up for what they believe in, or to help their country during tough times. Throughout the course of history, individuals such as Napoleon Bonaparte, Abraham Lincoln, and Mohandas Gandhi have become influential leaders through their ability to inspire. Without a doubt, Napoleon Bonaparte is controversial leader who has guided France through good and bad times. Napoleon was able to centralize the French government, reform education, and support the arts and sciences. Centralizing the government assisted to the unity of the country. Reforming education permitted a better future for the French people and a more intelligent society.
