Day 1 (September 18, 2013)
First we take our breakfast at the Ambassador Hotel. In the first day of our tour before the Y4IT seminar, we went to Gardenia located at Biñan, Laguna to see the machines they use for doing their breads. First, their staff gave us an orientation about Gardenia and their rules and regulations after that they show us how their products finish.
After we visited Gardenia, we take our lunch at McDonalds, Laguna then we went to Makati City and our target is to visit the University of Makati or what they called UMAK. Their IT students showed to us their different thesis. Almost of us amazed to what we have seen because all of them are nice. They show us different thesis like games for PC and androids. After the thesis presentation, one their faculty members and students tour us to their whole building and it is a 12th floor building and we didn’t use their elevator to tour so we are so tired after that.
Day 2 (September 19, 2013)
The day of the Y4IT (Youth For Information Technology) Seminar at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City with the theme: “Y4IT XI: Imagine. Innovate. Inspire.” First, the registration and then we got our kit like bags, ball pen and our snack. We are so many participants that day, and we got our chair when it is almost done before the lunch break. In the morning, we have six (6) speakers namely: Allan Sioson, Board Member of the Philippine Society of IT Educators (PSITE); Herminio Harry Roque Jr., Chairman of the Center for International Law and he discussed about Libel and the Cybercrime Prevention Act; Erick Bajao, Software Engineering at looloo; Wendy Gorton, Google Apps EDU Certified Trainer; Jerome Locson, Country Head of Google Apps Supporting Program
