The Autism Spectrum Disorder is a very misunderstood health conception. Also this health disorder affects an individuals ' social interaction due to the prolonged emotional, behavioral and physical conditions it carries. Learning about the different types of Autism will assist in better understanding this disorder. "Autism is a spectrum disorder, meaning there is a wide degree of variation(Bostic JQ.Prince JB Child)".Ranging from:Asperger 's Syndrome(mild form) to Classic Autism(severe form), or less common Pervasive Developmental Disorders(PDD or atypical autism). However I feel that Asperger 's syndrome has the most impact on children becuase, those children who have Asperger 's syndrome find it difficult to socialize, but oddly enough have high intelligence enabling them to perform exceptionally well in areas of mathematics and science. The main symptom of Asperger 's is significant trouble with social situations: Such as maintaining a conversation, having a formal style of speaking advanced for their age, avoiding eye contact, showing unusual interests in certasin objects, internalized verbal thoughts and heightened sensitivity.(Center for disease control and prevention) However I find it very ironicthat there is no delay in cognotive development as well as taking care of themselves. People living with Asperger 's syndrome "can handle it well while few issues are still present, are able to maintain an idependent life(TA. Rosenbaum JF. Fava M.Biederman J Raunch SL.eds.)". Another type of Autism spectrum is the more severe form of Classic Autism. This severe form of the spectrum develops at birth;"Those that have this type of Autism are much less enthusiatic than others". These people often demonstrate a lack of enjoyment or interests towards certain objects/achievements(Melinda Smith M.A Jeanne Segal.PH.D.,Ted Hutman PH.D)", in addition to finding abstract thinking more difficult than others. Although I believe
