Last summer I was lucky enough to embark on this 30 day community service teen tour to Costa Rica. During my tour I was reluctant and brave enough to do things that many other people don't get the experience of in their average life time. I, volunteered at a child day care where I learned how the majority of the world lives, going in natural hot springs and my favorite part, zip lining the longest zip line in Costa
Rica. In Costa Rica we went on many zip lines but nothing would have prepared me for a zip line 600 feet in the air and 3000 feet long. My guide started counting down 10, 9, 8, 7, 6… but at the time I was confused by what he was saying because he was speaking in Spanish, and I was too busy thinking that I was going to die in the next 30 seconds. However, when he got down to 5 seconds expecting to have 5 more seconds he pushed me off the platform and I was on my way.
