Riley’s Farm really changed my thoughts and ideas about the Gold Rush. It was a splendid trip. If you want experience the Gold Rush even today, Riley’s Farm is where you should be .
Wait a minute, did I just overhear someone say that mining was the best place to find gold ? Right when I climbed the flight of steep wood stair a noticed the line as gigantic. Finally, after 10 years of waiting I was next.After he payed the people in front of me, he dismissed us. That was when I stepped into the eerie cave hoping that I had good luck . Just great! Then I realized it was a horrible choice because it was pitch black and I hit my head three times. Hold up!!!!!!! In the corner was the tiniest hint of gold???? I ran as fast as I could
to pick up what looked like gold. Shining like a flashlight was a massive gold nugget.I was super excited!! That’s when I started my hunt for the second piece of breathtaking gold.I started hopping like a bunny corner to corner eager to find my treasure. What was that under my shoe ? Is it gold? Eureka !!!!!!! Wahoo!!!!!!! There was gold under my the whole time. The fast walked to the entrance. Luckily I was the first one out of the cave. I put 2 pieces of gold in the box and the Miner gave me 100 bucks. I was super excited. I thanked him and walked carefully down the steep wood stairs.
After mining, I jogged to the place where they sell tools and I bought a pan. Then I basically ran to the pond and immediately started what I was here to do. The first ten minutes was rotten luck. However I kept looking.In the water I could see something glistening gold nugget????????? I sank my hand into the freezing water hoping it was gold . Bingo!!!!! That sure was fine piece of gold. Right that moment I scampered to the bank. That was an exquisite piece of gold. It earned me a worthy $150 bucks. I was very excited. Time to find more gold.
One of my friends told me that explosive would get you a bunch of bucks. Right after I heard the “a bunch of bucks” I marched down to the explosive station and stood in line. The line was bigger than the Disney Land line. After 7 years we were next. I super excited. We had to do it in threesomes. It was Calista, a boy from another school, and I.
