Naruto
Naruto (NARUTO - ナルト -, Naruto?) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto with an anime adaptation. The main character, Naruto Uzumaki, is a loud, hyperactive, unpredictable adolescent ninja who constantly searches for recognition and aspires to become a Hokage, the ninja in the village acknowledged as the leader and the strongest of all.

Kishimoto first authored a one-shot of Naruto in the August 1997 issue of Akamaru Jump.[1] The plot differed substantially in that Naruto was the son of the demon fox instead of being the container, and the story was placed in a more modern setting.[2] This early version of Naruto already had the ability to transform into a sexy young woman - but when he did so, a fox tail sprouted. Kishimoto then rewrote the story to its current form, which was first published by Shueisha in 1999 in the 43rd issue of Japan's Shonen Jump magazine. As of volume 36, the manga has sold over 71 million copies in Japan.[3] Viz Media publishes a translated version in the American Shonen Jump magazine. Naruto has become Viz's best-selling manga series.[4] To date, the first 27 volumes are available in English.

The first of two anime series, produced by Studio Pierrot and Aniplex, premiered across Japan on the terrestrial TV Tokyo network and the anime satellite television network Animax on October 3, 2002, and is still being aired. Viz also licensed the anime for North American production. The first series lasted nine seasons, while Naruto: Shippūden began its first on February 15, 2007.

Naruto debuted in the United States on Cartoon Network's Toonami programming block on September 10, 2005, and in Canada on YTV's Bionix on September 16, 2005. Naruto began showing in the UK on Jetix on July 22, 2006. It began showing on Toasted TV on January 12, 2007 in Australia, which features the German dub opening, although it could be watched on Cartoon Network in

The Unites States has been expanding since the beginning of its foundation. From the early colonies, to the Mexican War, to the Westward Expansion and so on, Americans have had this desire to increase the size of their superiority. During the late 19th century and early 20th century, imperialism continued amongst the Americans but added an element of departure. Although America’s decisions to expand had a new factor of departure, United States expansionism was, for the most part, a continuation of previous expansion supremacy.…

Self-injury is a behavior in which people deliberately harm their own bodies in some way to cope with overwhelming emotions. Self-injury frequently is an impulsive act. You may become upset and spontaneously seek a way to hurt yourself, recklessly doing damage to their body. Other times, self-injury may be inflicted in a controlled, methodical manner. You may even plan it in advance, taking steps to avoid detection and to prevent infections. This act of behavior is not an attempt at suicide. With self-injury, the intent isn’t to die, but to inflict bodily harm. However, self-injury can accidentally result in suicide.…

Nilda Dominican girl, a rather quiet girl, never really had the best reputation when it came to her and the ways she would live her life. She wasn’t like the other local Dominican girls who weren’t aloud to leave their household. She was a free bird who chose to do whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted and that’s basically how she has been portrayed throughout the story. There are two other main characters in the story. They are both brother, Rafa and Yunior, Rafa being the elder one. The story is told by Yunior in a manner that focuses entirely on the life of Nilda. At the end of the day, Yunior makes the reader wonder about Nilda, was she a person worth remembering or was she just a memory one summer and no one special. Sometimes one cannot clearly express his/her feelings and thus chooses to behave in an unusual manner. This is a perfect example of how I truly believe Yunior acts with the case of Nilda.…

Comics didn't interest me much until a few years ago: long Indian summers spent reading Archie digests out of utter boredom had convinced me that there wasn't much to the form. It was only when a friend introduced me to Japanese comics (or manga) three years ago that I began to realize that the synthesis of image and text could produce complex layers of meaning, which shifted from reading to reading. In Japan, manga has "spread and diversified as a dominant (almost the dominant) medium in mass culture" The huge audience for manga in Japan has allowed artists to diversify into many different types, the two primary classifications being shonen - boys' manga - and shoujo - girls' manga. Shonen manga are usually heavy on action and light on character development and romance. Shoujo manga tend to focus on relationships and characters. They are also visually different: shonen manga is generally laid out clearly in rectangular panels, whereas shoujo artists take pains to present the story in creative ways, for example, by using unusual panel shapes or configurations, or by using symbolic images to represent emotions or events.…
