Nate Wilson 96% THE BEST PET I am Nate Wilson and on that Saturday in 2008 was the day I got my first and best pet. It was a sunny morning when I just crawled out of bed the best thing happened. "Nate come down and eat breakfast the French toast is done," Papaw said.
"Just a second I need to wake my mom up," I said. After I ate, I went outside and road my bike when I put it up I saw a black and white cat. I slowly inched toward him and picked him up, he looked about 2 months old I said can I keep him.
"Will you feed him and clean the litter?" Asked Mommas. "Yes, I will feed him, but no litter," I said "
Okay," said Mammas. When she said yes, I was so happy and I said thank you a lot. I said we need to name him something

“That man walked that walked in was kind of strange.” said the lady that walked past Walter. “ What do you mean?” her friend responded. The lady paused for a moment. “I don’t know” she said, “He went into the store looking for dog buscuits.” “Dog buscuits? Why is that strange?”. “I Think he was looking for buscuits specifically for puppies. I thought it was funny and laughed.” The two women just looked at eachother. They decided to walk into the A&P to see if they could find Walter. “I need puppy buscuits.” Walter said. “Any specific brand?” asked the cashier. “It says puppies bark for it.” “ He doesn’t know the brand” said the lady to her friend. “I think I can go over there and try to help him out, I have three dogs of my own.” The lady…

In the Fall of 2010, I watched my first televised football game from beginning to end. I sat down beside my older brother, Nick, and watched him as he analyzed every play of a Green Bay Packers game. He would scream at the tv when a bad play happened but would rejoice when a good one followed. I wanted to be just like him and know everything about football. I watched every game that season and annoyingly asked Nick every question that came to mind throughout the year. On February 6th, 2011 the Green Bay Packers won their 4th Superbowl title and I knew football like the back of my hand. After the game my brother said to me, “There’s no way you could ever not be a Packers fan now. You’re their good luck charm.” as I nodded, smiling ear to ear.…

Observing Aubrey's brother come back as a walker made him flinch. He had expected that this would never happen. Everything Audrey had been through, she didn't ask for this. The brunette tightly held onto her as she wept in his arms, a small frown forming on his lips before he shook his head. "You're not alone, Aubrey." The recent fight that had just went down popped back into his head. He immediately regretted the words he said earlier. In a hushed tone, Carl slowly loosened his grip on her. "We'll bury him, I promise. But..for now, I need to make sure you don't die as well." He spoke, knowing that could potentially make her even more angry at him. "But, we'll stay out here as long as you want okay?" He looked back at the dead corpse next to…

I was looking everywhere but still, he was nowhere to be found. I couldn't believe it, I actually lost my cat. I started to cry and yell at myself when all of the sudden I heard a soft familiar "meow!" I turned around and I saw nothing. I was furious, I thought my cat was trying to trick me. Then I heard the meow again. I looked up to where I thought I heard him and there he was. Perched at the very top of a 40 foot tall tree. I was thrilled to see him but then I realized I had no way to get him down. I went back home to get his favorite treats and when I came back he had already gotten down about half of the tree. I shook his bag of treats and he ran straight down the truck of the tree and onto the sidewalk. I could smell the strong scent of chlorine mixed with freshly cut grass as he ate his treats. When he was done I picked him up and carried him home.…

Fighting temptation describes a battle that is as much spiritual as it is emotional or physical. To be tempted is not a sin. Everyone is tempted and at different levels. Even Jesus was tempted! Temptation happens when the opportunity is presented to do what we know is wrong, whether against God, ourselves, or others. Being tempted is not wrong - it's the decision to do wrong and the corresponding action that follows.…

Everything was silent at first, as are most moment’s right before a major storm. People were roaming around, minding their own business and going about their days like nothing was wrong. It was quite clear most were trying to rush to get everything accomplished before the downpour, but no one knew how soon it would happen. Suddenly, as young eyes searched around the area for a treat for being a good boy during the trip, the wind suddenly picked up. Papers and leaves blew about, some flying in front of his face. This caused him to let go of the hand he was holding onto so he could rub at his eyes. He heard a voice, but the wind was too loud for him to hear over.…

Being a freshman at Miami University, many things are very different from the public school educational background back in Brooklyn, NY, where I was born and raised, until now residing in Oxford, OH, attending college. So far I have completed my first semester of college. I play football for the Miami University Football Team, but did not get to play my first year. So basically my hobbies are really just football. I attend Miami to study and receive my bachelors in Kinesiology/ Athletic Training. It is a real interesting and very fun major to be studying. I am not to very sure about any minors, because my academic interest has so many different opportunities just under that one major. I am currently taking 18 credit hours this semester. I have 3 Kinesiology courses, KNH 212, KNH 209, and KNH 206. AMS 207 (American Studies), ENG 105, ENG 112 (English), and EDT 110. Most of the writing assignments in my courses are very similar. We complete papers on the argumentative debates of topics, comparison, rhetoric etc.…

When I was about 13 years old me and my siblings would constantly beg my mom for another dog. Our other dog Kozmo was getting old, and we wanted to get him a friend. My mom was completely against getting another pet; she thought we would never take care of it. But soon enough my mom came home with a six month old purebred golden retriever. We ended up naming her Katie, so that our dogs would both start with a K. Katie's fur was a golden brown, with a red tint. Her eyes were a deep brown, and took up half her head.…
