National Honor Society Narrative Report
I have been involved in many activities during high school. These activities include academic organizations, community service, athletic teams, and the professional workforce. I have learned a great deal and have enjoyed participating in them. I also like spending time outdoors, camping, and playing sports for fun. One of my most rewarding accomplishments is that I am a member of National Honor Society. As a member, I have maintained above a 3.9 GPA and have completed several community service projects. My service projects include assisting the elderly at the Brethren Home, donating my time at our church festivals, being involved in Relay for Life, and raising money and participating in the Palmyra Mini-THON. Last year I took part in a
STEM competition. I worked with fellow classmates to write essays and build structures to compete against other schools. It was a great learning experience. I also enjoy sports. I ran cross country and lettered my junior year. My favorite sport is lacrosse, which I’ve played since fourth grade and earned a varsity letter each year in high school. During the off-season, I have been on several lacrosse teams throughout the summer, fall, and winter. This past summer I worked for The Hershey Company at Chocolate World as a customer service associate. It was a great experience operating the cash register and handling money. I enjoyed meeting new people and providing them with quality customer service. In my spare time, I like spending time outdoors. I enjoy camping with my family and riding bikes. I also like hanging out with my friends and playing sports for fun. In conclusion, I have been involved in many activities. When I am not involved in any of these pastimes, I appreciate the outdoors with my family and friends.
