In the Native American version the natives believe that a pregnant woman that lived up in heaven was craving a drink from the roots of the great tree. Tampering with or hurting the trees roots was bad and if you hurt it then bad thing would happen to you. The woman’s husband is a nice and humble man, so he ventures off to get the root drink. Abel was the keeper of the flocks and cain worked the soil. One day Cain brought some fruits of the soil as an offering to the Lord, and Abel brought an offering of fat portions of his flock. The Lord looked with favor on Abel and for Cain the Lord did not look with favor towards his offering, this made Cain mad and full of hatred for his brother. So Cain had asked Abel to go out to the field with him and that is when Cain attacked Abel and killed him. He then went back to the Lord claiming that he does not know where his brother is and the Lord knows that he is lying and for his punishment he is now cursed so when he works the ground, it will no longer yield its crops for him and he will be a restless wanderer on the earth. Lord said to Cain that anyone who kills him will suffer vengeance seven times over. Then the Lord put a mark on him so that no one who found him would kill him. Cain had to leave the presence of the Lord so he went off to live in the land of Nod which is east of Eden.
Both stories have very interesting ideas of how they think the world came to be. In my opinion the bible’s version of the story is more feasible to me, but it all depends on your religion what you believe is the truth about the creation of the
