In this task, I am going to evaluate how nature and nature may affect the physical, intellectual, emotional and social development of two stages of the development of an individual.
Nature and nurture debate has been going on for a long time and this debate there is no conclusion to it as they both have a significant role in our life. Angelina Jolie’s father and mother were in the acting industry when she started her career as a model first and then, later on, became an actress. She gets influenced by the media and her parents when she took a career in modelling and this lead to her getting into filming industry. This shows that her Nurture development affect her thoughts about how she should live her life and it can also be nature, the fact that she used her skills and talents that she inherited from her parents in her acting career. She should have become taller and skinny as her weight is related to her career. Most actress at this stage, they tend to lose more weight and become slim so they can look beautiful and younger.Angelina Jolie’s physical development had more impact her nature than nurture. This is because, at age of 39 years old, she inherited a gene mutation(BRCA1) from her mother and she had a risk of breast and ovarian cancer. Angelina Jolie’s mother died of ovarian cancer and breast cancer. In adulthood stage, this is what normally happens to the people who have inherited cancer genes or other genetic inheritance diseases from their family. However, nurture helped her to make a decision when she gets removed her ovarian and fallopian tube due to her family support and the advice that she get from her doctor.
