It’s common knowledge that identical twins have likenesses, but identical twins do have lots of differences. If you look at Anais and Sam, they do have things in common, but they do have differences like having a different voice by being raised by different parents, and they have different careers. look at Brenda and Bonnie, they did have things in common, but from their experiences, Bonnie changed her gender into a guy and became Aiden. It is true that my personality type has stayed the same through my life, but my personality has changed through my experiences. The fact that DNA will never change cannot be argued, but your experiences and the way you are raised can affect the way you act and learn. If you look at feral child Genie, she was fed and taken care of by her parents, but she was raised badly and was beaten if she made any type of sound. Another feral child, Oxana, was raised by a pack of stray dogs, but that happened because she was abandoned by her parents.
Identical twins have a lot of differences through the side of nurture. One set of twins, Anais and Sam, may have things in common, but they have differences that have come from experiences. They both were raised from different families, so that affected their voice when they talked. Another difference is that Anais’s career was to study fashion and Sam’s career was to act. Another set of twins, Bonnie and Brenda, were born as identical twins. Due to their experiences and the environment, Bonnie turned into a guy and became Aiden. Twins named Tim and James were born identical twins, but do have differences. One twin had 2 kidneys and the other twin had only 1 kidney.
Many personalities have changed in life through their experiences. I used to be an introvert and would be shy and not want to do as many things. Due to my experiences, now I am an extravert and I want to do things more and take more risks. I used to be a sensor and learn from the external world. The way I have been raised and taught, I am now an intuition and I learn from the internal world and my imagination. I used to be a thinker and not care about what I am going to do. Due to how I have been raised, I am a feeler and I care what other people think. I used to be a perceiver and go with the flow. Through my experiences, I am now a judger and I like to plan things out.
Studies show that nurture plays a huge role in life than nature.
Social and environmental factors are important because the way you are raised can affect the way you act and learn as you grow up. If you look at 2 feral children, the first one Genie, she was affected due to her environment. She was not found until she was 13 because she was tied to a toilet chair and only ate baby food. Her father would not like any type of noise and if he heard a noise from her or her mother, the father would beat them. The other feral child, Oxana, was raised by a pack of stray dogs because her parents had abandoned her. Oxana was not found until the age of 8. The influence of personality is a bigger effect to nurture than nature. Personality is created by the effects of both nature and nurture. Nurture is the reason that identical twins have many differences. People’s personalities have changed through their many experiences through life. Studies have shown that nurture plays a bigger role in life than nature. When you think about changing your personality, think if it’s nature or nurture that is the
reason.
