Naz's Case Study
There are other assumptions were made by his lawyer, and family. For example, Crowe negotiated a plea deal with the D.A. because she assumed that there are no chances of winning the case. On the other hand, Naz’s family assumed that the drugs may be affected on Naz and led him to kill Andrea. However, both those assumptions turned out to be incorrect by the end of the show. Stone assumed that there must be other evidence that proves Naz’s innocence, which turned to be right.
What biases, heuristics and misconceptions did the key players exhibit? Naz displayed a “representativeness heuristic” when he asked Chandra, his lawyers’ assistance, about what would she do if she were in his place. It is important to mention that Crowe knew that “ the more similar someone to us, the more likely are to trust”. She chose Chandra among all her employees to assist her in this case. In fact, in an earliest scene, Crowe asks Chandra” Where are your parents’ from?” and when

In an earliest episode, Box was just gathering information proves that Naz is the killer. Box ignores all the other evidence that states the opposite. For example, later in the trail, it turned out that there were two missing knives from the victim’s kitchen and the one was with Naz was not the murder weapon. Also, when Box was taking to the witness who walked by Andrea’s house and saw Naz with her, he ignored Naz’s saying that there were two witnesses, not one. It turned out later that there was another witness and he was a criminal who used a knifes from his victims home to kill them. More importantly, Box took Naz inhaler from the crime scene and give to him claiming that he wanted to help him. It turns out later that Box had disturbed evidence at the crime scene to make the murder fit. The detective irrational thinking led him to ignore and manipulate all those details and just focus on the evidence that confirms his

I have concluded an analysis of the current cost and pricing structure of the current Gizmo against the proposed cost and pricing structure provided for the new improved Gizmo. Under the current pricing and cost structure our breakeven point is 32836 unit or $2,462,686.57 in dollars, keeping the same selling price of $75.00 while increasing our contribution margin from $24.75 to $30.00, our breakeven point with the new Gizmo, is 36667 units or $2,750,000 dollars which is approximately a 112% increase. Since we are projecting that demand is relatively inelastic I would recommend an increase in sales price on the new Gizmo to $112.50 per unit based on selling the expect volume of 80,000 of the new Gizmos in order to maintain our current operating income. I would also recommend introducing an improved Gizmo, in addition to the current model. This would allow our R&D department to research alternative materials that are more in line with the cost of the current model, as well as figure out…

Benitez was very lucky to receive 10 years’ probation and fines. He was reckless and caused the death of a young girl. Le and her sister were in the car with Benitez, Le was partially ejected from the car and decapitated and “Benitez drove several blocks with the Le's body hanging out, then dumped Le and her 14-year-old sister at 4th and Angelina. He then drove off.” It was truly a miracle that he received probation. He violated his probation five times, which means that Benitez has zero regard for the gift he was given and he needs to be incarcerated.…

Additionally, Investigators used Williamson’s dream confession as an actual confession even though they did not have it conveniently recorded, despite having the means to do so. In this confession, he said he dreamt that he strangled and stabbed Debbie. Investigators found that this was not only not the cause of death but that the victim had not been stabbed nor strangled. This, also conveniently, was produced one day before the prosecution would have had to drop Fritz’s charges. Another inmate, female, claimed to have overheard Williamson speaking to his mother on the jail phone threatening to kill her as he did Debbie if she did not bring him cigarettes. The defense did not challenge this. They could have by proving where the female inmates were held compared to the single jail phone that Williamson supposedly used. They could have also tried to find a guard that overheard it as well to strengthen or refute the…

There was evidence that wasn’t collected such as blood that Mrs Chamberlain offered to give to the police. Evidence such as their tents and belongings were moved to a motel on the first night, which could’ve caused contamination allowing the evidence to have alterations. Their tents and belongings were also not searched. In addition, the family was then allowed to leave in their car the following morning without it being explored allowing contamination with another piece of evidence. Furthermore, evidence that was discovered later on in the case such as Azaria’s jumpsuit was moved then picked up and was not placed as it was found which tampered with the evidence. Although the collection of evidence throughout this case demonstrated faults, the Jury still concluded to Mrs Chamberlain as a guilty woman, which led to her…

An NLRB decision in favor of the NBPA would have changed the face of the 2011 NBA CBA and impacted the NBA for at least the next decade. An analysis of the NBPA’s complaint and surrounding circumstances demonstrates that it is likely the NLRB would have ruled for the players, and that the labor law route offers players’ unions certain advantages over the antitrust law route.220 The NBA’s refusal to provide the NBPA with requested relevant financial information was likely a violation of NLRA section 8(a)(5) and a refusal to bargain in good faith.221 It is also probable that the NBA engaged in surface bargaining, which was used as a dilatory tactic to halt negotiations until the old CBA expired.222 These bargaining strategies allowed the NBA to institute a lockout and put more…

Given all of the evidence, we know the burglar, Louis Spanker, was not the killer. The evidence supports this claim because there is a jewelry box on Amy’s dresser and the jewelry is still in the box. If the burglar would have killed her he would have most likely taken the jewelry from the dresser. Most burglars steal items that are worth a good amount, so we now have the burglar out of the running for the murderer.…

The prosecution’s evidence was a mere form of judgment and based on eyewitnesses, in which there was a lack of credible evidence that was positively proved in this case. The prosecution’s claim that there were seven witnesses all near Braintree around the time of the crime who claimed that Sacco looked identical to one of the bandits. The prosecution also claimed that a cap with a hole in it was picked up at the crime scene was similar if not identical to one that Sacco previously owned. The hole might have related to Sacco’s workplace where he religiously hung his cap. One of the seven witnesses, Kelley, claimed the cap was the same brand and color related to Sacco. The evidence against Sacco and Vanzetti about the car relates to when they were arrested. Sacco and…

In addition, Fred Cutler made Al throbbing by taking the circumstance to a more low-level. Be that as it may, Fred had a nearly not a decent information of the outcomes. To Al, he had more to be won or lost circumstance and acted on it with no help. So I opine that their alliance at work would not have been acknowledged in any event for some time after the finish of this project. It would have been accomplished…

The Nez Perce have been known by many different names since they have been a tribe. A tribe elder said that before they had horses they were called "Cuupn'itpel'uu" which means " we walked out of the woods". Next, they were called "Nimi''ipuu" which means "real people" or " we the people". Then, Lewis and Clark gave them their well known name Nez Perce, which means "pierced nose" in French. That was a strange name for the tribe since the Nimi''ipuu didn't practice the art of piercing. They found out later that they were mistaken for a tribe that lived farther south and did practice piercing. This tribe doesn't even call themselves Nez Perce, they go by Nimi''ipuu.…

So he decided to dig deep in to the case and analyzed the evidence technically to make sure if they are worthy of declaring the boy guilty of the charge. So from the beginning of the case he was convinced that there is some grey area that needs to be verified before any decision. He started from saying that the boy is not guilty and that there is a possibility that the provided proofs are not so influential. He was pre-planned that he will not give-up the decision on the basis of vote call and that he will discuss it deep into the hard facts with others until he will be convinced enough to called the boy “Guilty”. 1. There are numerous differences between performing a review and actual audit on the financial statements, but the major one is that the review does not contemplate obtaining an understanding of internal control structure. Also, a review does not assess control risk, tests of accounting records and responses to inquiries by obtaining corroborating evidence through inspection, observation or any other audit procedure. It can point out significant matters of the financial statements but does not provide assurance of their accuracy. The issue with ZZZZ Best case is that the auditors review was not sufficient enough to review any misstatements on the financial statements. Ernst & Whinney never questioned the internal control, reviewed contractual agreements or made comparison of the previous statements. If they had done any of the above, they would have revealed a glitch in the system. In addition, the review does not provide the assurance that an audit opinion would do on the financial statement.…

It is in this third step that ThunderGatez needs to specifically consider what obstacles they need to overcome in Russia. According to Julia Lebedeva, a business development director, Russian gamers “speak Russian only, [loves] complaining, needs 24/7 support, and [doesn’t] trust those who charge money (that’s why reviews matters.” Thus the need for a local team that can provide support to these gamers is critical. Rather than bringing international workers that can provide support, it might be ThunderGatez’s best interest to find local workers that understand the Russian gamer culture, or even partnering with local companies that can provide the resources ThunderGatez needs.…
