The movie troy takes place in the year of 1250 B.C. during the late Bronze Age. Two nations (Trojans and Greeks) begin to clash after Paris, the Trojan prince, convinces Helen, Queen of Sparta, to leave her husband, Menelaus, and sail with him back to Troy. After Menelaus finds out that the Trojans took his wife, he asks his brother Agamemnon to help him get her back. Agamemnon sees this as an opportunity for power. So they set off with 1,000 ships holding 50,000 Greeks to Troy. With the help of Achilles, the Greeks are able to fight the Trojans. Achilles at first doesn’t want to participate in the war, but later on makes on of the biggest blows to the Trojans by killing Hector, the price of Troy. The war had finally ended in 1240 B.C. It had ended when Greek hero Odysseus came fourth with the idea to make what was called the Trojan horse. The Greeks pretended to sail away, and the Trojans pulled the horse into their city as a victory trophy. During the nighttime 30 Greek men emerged for the wooden horse and entered and destroyed the city of Troy, decisively ending the war. The mythic accuracy of the movie Troy does differ from the book more than its similar.…

Is America becoming more unequal? This is a question that could have a vast variety of answers and opinions depending on you speak with. The way a person could answer this question could be dependent on many factors such as the way they were raised, there political beliefs how they look at racial and sexual inequality in the country. There is really no right answer to this question but in this research essay I will give my opinion and my views on this very topic. In my opinion America is becoming unequal for several different reasons. I truly and honestly believe that America has never been nor will it ever truly be equal. Since the beginning of recorded history America has not been equal. From Black African slaves being owned and traded and treated as if they were not humans but property. Today the inequality of race is nowhere near the same level as what it used to be but it still does exist. Some people would argue that there is a Black President so how could America not be equal because it shows that everyone has the same opportunities in life. They would contest that everyone has the opportunity to achieve the American dream and to the pursuit of happiness. Yes everyone may have the God given right to the pursuit of happiness and to achieve the American dream, but not everyone has the means and resources in America to truly go after their dreams. An underprivileged child who is from the inner city who comes from a family that lives paycheck to paycheck, is not afforded with the same opportunities of a child who’s family would be considered upper middle class or wealthy. There has never been a wider gap disconnect between the wealthy and those considered to be poor. In this uncertain time in our country where we have a debt of sixteen trillion dollars and unemployment is steadily on the rise it seems as if that statement has never been truer “The rich get richer while the poor get poorer”. It even seems as if the government for example the house and senate…

Introduction: English as a foreign language has the greatest motion in Bangladesh. Status of English as the "library language" and the increased "international inter-dependence" are the two reasons of this which led to a greater focus on face-to-face language usage crossing the margin of pen and paper exercise. As the decline of Grammar-Translation method in 1960s proved that language learning might not be limited to "reading and writing" or 'literacy', the provisional continuation of Direct Method confirmed too that 'listening and speaking' that is 'oracy' is not all that is language. Language must be taught in an integrative way where all four skills are focused.…
